Hi, after the last days fiddling around with clover i can say a big THANK YOU!!! Boot is working now thank your tutorial. It boots just from usb and from efi partition only, but am more than ok with the efi partition. When i previously tested clover i thought its like chameleon...install and run. didn't work so i left it. Hi, Yeah its GUID partitioned. Alright am gonna try to install clover with uefi boot enabled in bios.. Can i actually install osx on mgr? I thought i can't do that. On my old Laptop its chameleon and GUID as well. Thank you very much for your help... Peace

Hi, I installed now chameleon v2266 and blue glow theme with boot0hfs option. Its still the same like before... I have never had such a problem related to any bootloader...thats so weird! Thank you very much for your help... Peace

Hi, Here are the smbios.plist and the boot.plist. I cannot make screenshots because there is no boot up. it will not come to the chameleon screen. It just flashes the lights two times after bios and then off. Or do you mean the bootlog while booting from the usb? Can it be that the bios somehow blocks the boot of chameleon? I updated it to the latest version before i started the hack. Thank you very much for your help... Extra.zip

Hi, I got a Samsung np300v5a laptop: Core i5 2450m hm 65 HD 3000 - works Gforce gt 520mx - video not working atheros 9287 - wifi works alc 269 - audio works focusrite scarlett 8i6 - audio works My problem is that the bootloader boots from usb only. when i install chimera, chameleon or clover the boot will result in a bios boot loop. i tried different versions of chimera and chameleon now. I also tried the boot1h thing for hds with 4k sectors. I installed the Laptop with unishit, use MacBook Pro 8.1 smbios.plist. ssdt created by a tool of revogirl, dsdt modified by artur-pt, edited io80211.....kext, voodoohda for alc269, Any ideas? A step closer to vanilla..... thanks a lot Thanks for the links too i´ll take a look at all.... Do you think i can use the wifi chip from my old Laptop? it´s a supported atheros. But do you know are the connectors usually the same for the wifi chips, or are they embedded directly on the main board? They are both intel main boards. Thank you Peace

Hi Artur-pt, Thank you very much!!! Now i get sleep and speed stepping working. And Bootup without any failure The only thing missing is the Battery indicator. I know i can use Applesmartbattery.kext or others, but they all use AppleACPIPlatform.kext version 1.3.5 and the recent one is version 1.6. Do you think there is a chance to use the dsdt edits found here?: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/272459-appleacpibatterymanagerapplesmartbatterymanager-for-lion/ or do you know any other workaround, so i could use the recent appleacpiplatform.kext. Hi iam new to this and dsdt patching is kinda voodoo for me. can you please help me out with mine? i would very appreciate it. I dont even know where to start and i dont want to mess everything up. My System is a packard bell laptop ts44hr bios version 1.21. I found on this forum a modified dsdt for this laptop, but it is not working at all. probably its a different bios version as the thread is older then my bio version. the system hangs on recognising the 4th cpu. this is my zip. what doesnt work is sleep, speedstep, wifi is only working with 802.11g, built in ethernet, usb 3.0 and audio. and from time to time i get a kernel panic at boot at ahci device, but just sometimes. let me know if you need more details. My System is a Core i3 2310m, hm65 chipset, intel hd 3000, atheros wifi(168c:0030), intelhda(8086:1c20), broadcomethernet(14e4:16b5), necupd720200 usb3.0(1033:0194), two unknown broadcom devices(14e4:16bf and 14e4:16be) I extracted the dsdt with aida64. the special kexts i use for now are: AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext AppleIntelSNBGraphicsFB.kext ---for vga output ApplePS2Controller.kext EvOreboot.kext FakeSMC.kext IO80211Family.kext ---for at least 802.11g but no n IONetworkingFamily.kext ---for ethernet NullCPUPowermanagement.kext SleepEnabler.kext ---but sleep is still not working. it instantly wakes up VoodooHDA.kext Then i used a aicpm patch because of sandy bridge/ivybridge and the ahci mlion patch that the boot waits a bit longer with the timeout to recognise ahci. i run chimera 1.11 and mountain lion 10.8.2 on it thank you very much Send me Colanders MacBook Pro.zip acpi_dsdt.aml.zip
