Hi MaLd0n, I see that you switched your SMBIOS to iMac 19,1 from iMacPro 1,1. I have been using iMac19,1 for a few months now and everything is working very well BUT I am unable to view DRM content in Safari (HBONow, Netflix, etc). Is DRM video working for you on your system?

Thanks, I had done that but I guess I didn't wait long enough when it seemed to freeze up at the apple screen with some pixel distortion at the top of the screen. This time I let it sit for awhile and it finally changed screens and showed an update progress bar.

I am currently running 10.14.5 beta. It was the first time I had been on any Beta version of MacOS but I needed it to support the SMBIOS (imac19,1) that I'm running. Does anyone know the proper procedure to update to 10.14.5 release from 10.14.5 beta? I just tried the system update and it appears that I'm still on the Beta. When it shut down, it came back and tried to run the Mojave install pre-boot. I let that happen and it just seems to have gotten stuck. Then I reset it and tried Mojave Install selection on Clover. Same thing. thanks for any assistance.

Does anybody know if this includes support for new system definitions? I'm assuming there will be iMac 19,1 or something to reflect new 9th gen processors and chipsets. Also, I noticed my computer is no longer going into deep sleep. It was working perfectly prior to this this upgrade (sleeping in the 1-2W range, vs now showing 60-85W consumption while sleeping). It's possible something changed BEFORE I upgraded to Mojave but I only noticed this issue after the upgrade.

Thanks, I am just trying to understand why it needs to be renamed to ANS2? Is there some performance or compatibility benefit? If I don't implement the rename, it still shows up fully populated in my IOReg and everything seems fine. No rename patch: Renamed to ANS2:

Hi [ref]MaLd0n[/ref], I was going through your config.plist and noticed that in the ACPI section you renamed 2 devices. It appears one (ARPT) is for your bluetooth module, but what's the second one (ANS2) used for? It looks like it points to your IONVMeController? On my system IOReg that appears to be at RP09 (vs RP21 on yours). Do I need to use that rename property and substitute RP09 accordingly (_SB.PCI0.RP09.PXSX)? Thank you for helping me better understand these things.

Thank you, [ref]erroruser[/ref]! Those frame buffer ids did the trick for the IGPU issues. Quicklook jpeg working now. Final Cut Pro still seems to work. Everything looks like [ref]MaLd0n[/ref]s in sysinfo and IOREG. IMEI driver is also now showing as installed in sysinfo . Hopefully this will help with the sleep issues I've been facing.

Hello, MaLd0n, I am still tweaking my system. I was having some problems with quicklook for JPEGs and when I was going through this build of yours I noticed a few discrepancies in our system information and IOREGs and I'm wondering if that may have something to do with it. I also have a Z390 system board, 9th gen (core i5), Ultra HD 630 IGPU and the exact same RX590 card that you appear to have. It seems that I've done something wrong somewhere in my configuration and this is how my sysinfo and IOREG appears. It appears that your IGPU is properly attaching to AppleIntelFrameBuffer and your IMEI is picking up AppleIntelIMEI driver while mine is not (also yours shows reference to Cannon Lake in the system info, which mine does not). Do you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong? I have used your installer image, your patched DSDT and have followed the rest of your guides. I am using the latest versions of Lilu and Whatevergreen and everything else seems to be working reasonably well. It's just bothering me to not have it quite perfected yet. Thank you for your expertise!

Ok, so I will need to get file vault2 working in order to hibernate?
-
I would like for it to hibernate/deep sleep or whatever reduces the power consumption dramatically from ~50-60W which is what is currently happening when it "sleeps". Is this possible? Thank you.

Thanks to your help here (I'll be sending paypal soon), I have the following system working quite nicely Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI Intel Core i5-9600k 32GB DDR4-3200 (G.Skill) Sapphire Nitro+ RX590 Special Edition Samsung 970 EVO NVMe (1TB) I originally had a lot of issues getting Mojave working - I finally tracked it down to the initial NVMe drive that I had installed. It was a Samsung 970 EVO PLUS NVMe (512GB). Apparently the MacOS NVMe drivers aren't compatible with the new 970 EVO Plus yet. I have all the USB ports working after some time with Hackintool. I found a patch that was supposed to extend beyond 15 port limit, but it doesn't seem to work, so I had to disable HS support on several of the USB3 ports - not really a big deal, but it would be cool to get them all functioning 100%. Everything seems to be working from a graphical standpoint, including the Ultra HD630 IGFX. I notice that when the machine goes to sleep it is still consuming 50-60W which is about the same as it does when it's awake and fairly idle. I would like to get hibernation working. I took a few stabs at it today and I did get it to hibernate several times (down to ~2W overall consumption), but it wouldn't fully awaken. One time it woke up and started using about 130W but it was unresponsive otherwise. Another time, after some tweaks, it woke up but the RX590 didn't seem to wake up with it. I was able to remotely mount the filesystem through filesharing, but I couldn't open the screen remotely. Is this something that can be achieved with the Z390 platform now, or am I wasting my time? If hibernation is something that can work, can somebody please provide a few pointers as far as what I need to do in the clover config? Otherwise I won't waste any more time on it. THANKS!

Hello, can you please patch this attached DSDT.aml? It is for a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Pro Wifi. I extracted this one using f4 in Clover bootloader. Thank you very much! UPDATE: The system is not currently allowing me to attach the zipfile. I will try again later

THANK YOU VERY MUCH for you prompt reply MaLd0n! Unfortunately it hasn't cured the problem I am facing with my NVMe M.2 drive, but it will probably make other things easier. cheers!

Hello, I am having trouble installing Mojave 10.14.3 on my system. I can get a basic installation working, but only if I use a standard 240GB Sata SSD. I am unable to complete an install with the Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVME M.2 drive installed. If I boot it into the working system using the SSD (with Olarila clover folder) AND the 970 Evo Plus installed, it will boot but the system locks up almost immediately after I log in. I don't know if DSDT patches will help but I've run out of ideas. Attached is my send me file. Thank you very much! Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS PRO WIFI BIOS version: F8 Processor: Intel Core i5-9600k Memory: 4x8GB G.Skill Ripjaws DDR4-3200 Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe M.2 500GB Graphics: Sapphire Nitro+ Radeon RX590 Special Edition Send me - rtga.zip
