Thanks guys it worked. You have to have some patience because you will see the file only after downloading and that can take some time.

Does somebody knows where the DP2 download is after downloading it from AppStore? I want to install it on other computers but don't want to download it every time. DP2 gives me back the shutdown key stroke (crtl-eject). Missed it in DP1. Only need to replace the AppleHDA Thanks

Simple Question - Patches and Compatible MB
rene replied to mikelebron's topic in DSDT & Patch Requests
Gigabyte is the most used and that ain't for nothing Closest to Mac's hardware. All 3 DSDT's are made with AutoPatcher and is working 100%. -
This HDA is not from Lion. See first post from MaLd0n how it works. Get your layout.xml, platforms.xml and info.plist from your working system (SL). You can use HDA Wizard: http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=266531&st=0 Here's one for your ALC883 http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=266531&st=20# (post #24) Maybe you can get it to work for yourself But you have first to remove all the old stuff like HDAenabler, ALC8xxHDA ….etc And replace the original AppleHDA from 10.7.2 Good luck Use Realtek ALC883 for the bin patch [Edit] Here's one from oldnapalm for LionGM, you can try also, or use the layout.xml, platforms.xml and info.plist: http://www.mediafire.com/file/252yozzp7vn4tnt/AppleHDA.kext-ALC883-LionGM.zip

Então faça I. Ea CPU é freqeuncy 0? É para corrigir? i7 2600k? Ajuste de sensores de hardware FakeSMC?
-
Are you using FakeSMC in /Extra/Extensions? Try it in /System/Library/Extensions Boot with (or add your own boot flags): -f -v or -x -v And use Extra folder from Mald0n, read his topic.
-
Did you run kext utility to rebuild caches? and it is: npci=0×2000 arch=i386 -v Mind the i386 and NOT 386
-
A “fix” for [PCI Configuration begin] bug best fix is adding kernel boot flag: npci=0×2000 -v (voodoohda = KP) > remove appleHDA from /S/L/E Or use AppleHDAdisabler: http://Olarila.com/forum/download/file.php?id=281

Thats what I've had also. Are you using the smbios.plist form "iMac12,1 / Core i 1155"? Well in that case don't. Try the smbios.plist from: http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=134 MacPro3,1 / Core2Quad 775 The iMac smbios.plist gives you power savings on your audio, just like a MacBook. Thats what you hear when poping. Just replace the smbios.plist and use the one from MacPro3,1 and enjoy your sound again The smbios.plist from MacPro3,1 don't have power savings for audio. And uninstall "antipop". In the folder you'll find an uninstaller. Greetz, René

Hey you guys, You should use HackbootCD to boot on a clean install HD (no DSDT). Thats what MaLd0n learned us Then you'll NOT get those strange errors Hope it helps, it helped me. Tried it myself and now I can fix the rest of those errors. Greetz, René Thanks to Oldnapalm for doing a great job here. Thanks for that

All links of Auto Patcher are dead, Olarila.com and insanelymac.com? Everything is off line? [Edit] See this: http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=385

install snow leopard problem on msi p35 platinum
rene replied to Tsurugi's topic in Snow Leopard (10.6)
Are you using the ICH9 ports? That is SATA3~SATA6 Don't use the Marvell port (SATA7). In BIOS don't use RAID. You do have AHCI. Look for it. It's the next option after RAID mode. AHCI Devices Group Press to enter the AHCI settings sub-menu. The submenu displays the status of auto detection of IDE devices. AHCI Port0~5 Press to enter the sub-menu. These submenu allow users to select the type of devices connected to the system. Download/Read the manual: http://us.msi.com/service/download/manual-5519.html -
Sorry, same error. Thanks anyway

I'm trying to install Lion via terminal with: sudo open /Volumes/LionPen/System/Installation/Packages/OSInstall.mpkg In Leopard and Snow Leopard this method works but not in Lion. Getting error: The installation failed. The installer could not install the software because there was no software found to install. When booting from LionPen (USB stick) it's ok, but I want to do it via terminal. Am I missing something? Do I have to change something in the script of OSInstall.mpkg?
