Guys, i maybe found a workaround for the graphical artifacts on the hd3000. I tried everything kexts, framebuffers, dsdt etc. I got qe/ci and vga with hdmi working. If the artifacts shows up, i go to sleep mode and go back to osx. From that point (turning back to osx) all artifacst stay away untill i fully shutdown the pc. I tried this for 2 days now. Just try it and post the results. Btw using the sandy bridge i3 2370m, intel HD 3000 with devid 0116, SMBIOS 8,3 (3,40Ghz). FakeSMC (latest) If the devs want more info let me know

The interal display is working fine only the artifacts, is that code for external display? and have to put in boot.plist? EDIT: Tried that, nothing changed

Hi. I need some help of from the experts, i have asus x75a hm70 chipset with a sandy bridge intel 2370m hd3000 devid 0116. I can get qe/ci oob with only adding duallink to my dsdt. I cant get hdmi working (only on low res 640x480) any higher and im getting a black screen. I also have artifacts, (randomly) sometimes its just working normal and sometimes with artifacts. my dsdt is in the attachment, 8 Im using smbios 8,1 Here are my files https://www.dropbox.com/s/grvr9814o5hnmfi/Archive.zip i also dont know which patches i have to use on Olarila.com/forum/patches.php do i need the core sandy bridge patches or the core ivy bridge patches?

oki only 5 more warnings to go, still have no hdmi thanks for the the dsdt cause i have it proberly patched now and duallink works aswell, but i have a black screen when im connecting any resolution higer as 640 got any good hacks? EDIT: 480p also works now after 2 minutes waiting at the black screen

This are my specs: 4GB ram, 500 GB Hitachi HDD Asus x75A Mainboard with i3-2310m Intel HD3000, (0x1116) 1600 x 900 Intel HM67/HM70 Chipset Express 1. Using unishit USB with pached osxinstall.mpkg for MBR. (I need MBR cause my BIOS doesn't read GUID from booting). 2. Boot from mountain lion usb with commando "-v -f" and go trough the installation. a. Create a partition, with MBR as table and Journaled as format. 3. Booting into OS X for the first time with -f -v (welcome screen), grazy colours again, but i went trough the setup anyway 4. Copy my Extra folder with org.chameleon.boot.plist, smbios 8,1 and earlier patched DSDT (with TPGT and duallink patched) to /Extra. (dsdt has 8 warning left, i cant fix them myself). 4. Copied multishit to desktop and installed with: Patched AppleIntelCpuPowermanagement, fakesmc + fakesmc plugins ps/2 keyboard mouse and trackpad Chimera Bootloader 5. Run kext utility to repair caches and permissions, rebooted after that step. 5. Fix the 4k sector to be able to boot from hdd a. open terminal in os x setup (from usb) b. dd if=/Volumes/"unishit Volume Name"/usr/standalone/i386/boot1h of=/dev/disk0s1 8. Reboot (-v) I can now fully boot from hdd without unishit usb. My System Info now says INTEL HD Graphics 3000 Mobile 385 MB, and i have qe, without having to use any bootflag, but no vga or hdmi output. wifi, lan, keyboard and trackpad works aswell. This are the two thing i wanne focus on now: - Sometime the notebook just turns off suddently; - No HDMI and/or VGA (prefer HDMI); Can someone please help me further?

some times it does work sometimes only with -f, can this be cause i use mbr parition?

I really want qe support, i only get qe if i now boot with -f, i dont no why that happend, normally it does works i also like hdmi and vga on my intel hd 3000 0x0116 ml 10.8.2 Send me Thomas’s MacBook Pro.zip

my qe only works with -f oob, do you know what could be the problem, sometimes qe works, sometimes it doesnt
