Instalação do Lion via USB usando Chameleon / GM e FINAL

This happens only when you copy dsdt.aml to pen drive? I don't understand, a few posts ago you said you could get to the language selection screen -

Look When you click "apply" it creates a dsdt.aml file on your desktop. Just copy this file to the Extra folder in the pen drive. -

The same thing, except it also installs the DP4 kernel to the root of the pen drive. You still have to copy the dsdt.aml to the Extra folder in the pen drive. -

When you install Extra Lion.pkg to the pen drive, it creates a folder named "Extra". You have to put the dsdt.aml inside that folder. If you can use the arrow keys to navigate in the Chameleon screen, you should be able to type the parameters. Where it appears in the screen depends on the theme you are using. -

Did you put the file dsdt.aml generated by Auto-Patcher in the /Extra folder inside the pen drive? Please attach this file here. Also try typing "USBBusFix=yes -v" in Chameleon screen, after selecting the pen drive, before pressing enter. It's case sensitive, so "UsbBusFix=yes" will not work. If it makes no difference, try "USBLegacyOff=yes -v". Did you need any special procedure to have USB working in Snow Leopard? -
Restart should work with Chameleon RC5 (remove any restart kexts, EvoReboot, OpenHaltRestart). What's your CPU? Sleep should work if you are using native power management (see first post and remove NullCPUPowerManagement) or use SleepEnabler.

You have to install kext nForceLAN for ethernet. Use Lizard to enable graphics injection and detect PCI root Install a recent Chameleon and the Fermi drivers.
-
Try booting with "arch=i386 -v".
-
If it works booting from CD it should work from HD too. Did you choose the correct architecture when unpacking the kexts? Try installing IOATAFamily from CD as well.
-
AppleNForceATA should be enough to avoid the "still waiting for root device" problem, and nForceLAN to have your ethernet card working. Extensions.mkext in the CD is inside Preboot.dmg.
-
Looks like a bad kext. Did you extract it from the boot CD? This kext must be installed in /S/L/E, not in /E/E.

Maybe, but I didn't understand what is your problem. -
Try to extract the kexts from CD (may be in Extensions.mkext) and install them to the HD Use Kext Wizard for that http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=253395

If it was MacPro3,1 it should work as is. Check in About this Mac - More info.

Many people ask about kexts for nVidia video cards, the answer is they are already there, they're part of Mac OS X. The problem is they were not loaded because the card was not recognized. In order for it to be recognized, we have to inject some properties in the device tree. The Chameleon bootloader does that automatically for many cards, you just have to enable the GraphicsEnabler option and configure the PciRoot (only if it's not zero). In the file org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>GraphicsEnabler</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>PciRoot</key> <string>1</string> To find the correct PciRoot value, run in terminal ioreg -l | grep -15 "AppleACPIPCI\ " | grep UID You can use the app Chameleon Wizard http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=398 There are kexts for that (NVenabler, NVinject, EvoEnabler, among others) but they do exactly the same thing, inject properties, they are not the drivers themselves. http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=370 It's also possible to pass the properties manually to Chameleon. In the file org.chameleon.Boot.plist <key>device-properties</key> <string>[hexadecimal EFI string]</string> To get the currently injected properties you can use the command ioreg -lw0 -p IODeviceTree -n efi -r -x | grep device-properties | sed 's/.*<//;s/>.*//;' > device-properties.hex To convert the file device-properties.hex (hexadecimal EFI string) to plist (property list file) you can use GFXUtil (http://forum.netkas.org/index.php?topic=64.0) gfxutil -s -n -i hex -o xml device-properties.hex device-properties.plist You can also use OSX86Tools (http://code.google.com/p/osx86tools/). OSX86Tools can be also used to generate an EFI string. Another way to inject the properties is by DSDT, check this topic http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=609 For some cards it may be necessary to insert its device ID into the file Info.plist of kexts NVDAResman, NVDANV40Hal (series 6xxx and 7xxx), NVDANV50Hal (series 8xxx and up) and NVDAGF100Hal (series 4xx and up). Edit the file Info.plist and insert the ID of your card (0xDeviceIDVendorID) into key IOPCIPrimaryMatch or IOPCIMatch IOPCIPrimaryMatch 0x06e410de How to find the device ID http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=63 How to edit Info.plist http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=1704

Boot CD is to be used with retail DVD.
-
No, just install the kext and run Kext Utility. - copy mpkg to desktop - show package contents - edit distribution.dist var system_models = ["MacPro3,1", "MacPro4,1", "MacPro5,1", "insert your model indentifier here"];

Use this boot CD, it should work http://blog.nawcom.com/?p=446 After installing, if the system doesn't boot from HD (still waiting for root device), install this kext http://nawcom.com/osx86/files/10.6/SATA/Intel/IOATAFamily.kext.zip

Yes, you can post in spanish, I understand but can't write in spanish, so I will reply in english. -
Should work. You may need a patched AppleIntelPIIXATA.
-
Drag the kext into /System/Library/Extensions and run Kext Utility http://cvad-mac.narod2.ru/Kext_Utility/ For audio use VoodooHDA (remove AppleHDA to avoid possible kernel panic) http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/downloads/list For video install Fermi driver (requires 10.6.5 or later) and use GraphicsEnabler=Yes http://www.nvidia.com/object/quadro-macosx-256.01.00f03v7-driver.html
-
Install AppleNForceATA http://nawcom.com/osx86/files/10.6/SATA/NVIDIA/AppleNForceATA.kext.zip
-
You need to install the ATA drivers (AppleNForceATA?) Use System Info to check the kext in use when you boot with the CD http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=63

LegacyHDA é usada em conjunto com a AppleHDA no Snow Leopard, mas no Lion esse método não funciona, como explicado no primeiro post. Siga os procedimentos para editar a AppleHDA do Lion baseado nas informações da legacyHDA do Snow.
