I have also installed chimera 1.11.1 on my original snow leopard install.
So 2 partitions one with snow leopard 10.6.8 and chimera 1.11.1 the other partition with 10.8.2 and chimera 1.11.1 r1394 installed.
So looks like the same bootloader. So when I boot my computer, chimera 1.11.1 starts and automatically tries to boot my Snow Leopard drive I press a button to stop this select my mountain lion drive, it flicks to a black screen and then comes back to chimera like it hasn't been able to boot it, now if I goto snow leopard at this step to try to boot, I get a kernel panic. Restart the computer and leave chimera to do its thing and start Snow leopard as the default and Snow leopard boots fine with no kernel panic this time.
