Hi, i've maverick on my p5e3 deluxe (only bios MB) with chamaleon r2266. is possible to migrate to clover?? in case whats the right procedure (option to select on clover installation)? thanks

I've to report a really strange problem Using chaleon 2.2 from 2202 to 2266( to make iMessage working) release i have problem when i try to connect any SMB and AFP sharing. I got Message connection failed. But the strange think is that i can surf the net. With chamaleon v2.1 r2003 it works perfectly(except iMessage ) Any tip to solve the issue??? Thanks

Thanks for your help, but before I'd like to try a think... I tested on my system too much chamaleon in order to have I message working , so I'll make a clean installation of ML again and I'll try directly chamaleon v2.2 r2156. My issue is that I cannot connect any shared folder using SMB and Afp protocol with new chamaleon

UPDATE: Booting the system with an older chamaleon 2003 sharing SMB AND AFP work. Using the new chamaleon (to have iMessage working ) doesn't work. Any tip???

Good morning, i've a strange issue... any outgoing connection to a shared folder (even on a macbook air or QNAP NAS) using AFP and SMB protocol does't work... I cannot also use an authentication meted...(user and pw) the strange is that if i shared a foldeer on my hackintosh from a can access with no prob from other pc... (so incoming works... outcoming not) . any suggestion???? Thanks

Thanks i solved in this way: i update Chamaleon with chamaleon wizard (relese 2182); i edited serial (17 digit) in smbio.plist (as u suggested) i create a folded extra/modules... and added the file above; using chamaleon wizard i remove the flag in module/ ACPICodec.dylib. Now imessage works. Thanksssssssssssssssss

i read around that new chamaleon does't work with efi partition..... could be this the isuue (efi partition created by older chameleon)?

Thanks for your fast reply. I tried to use the latest chameleon 2169 and i added manually extra/modules folder, but system hangs in the beginning.. in attache 2 screenshots......

I already tried to use the latest chamaleon, but I had to go back the older coz the system hang to start up

Hi i've the same iMessage issue... i use Chameleon-2.1svn-r2003 as boot loader. i don't undestand if i've to replace it with clover boot loader before, or if there is another workaround to fix server error with iMessage. thanks
