  1. That's strange... it didn't work. Tried removing all NVDA kexts and boot with -f -v, but it hangs at No interval found for . Using 80000 (maybe related to appleps2, not really an issue since I remember that on my inspiron too..) Same thing using NVDA kexts from dp. Now it's always hanging at that point. Just a couple of lines behind "NVDAStartup: Official". And with the original NVDA kexts back in their place too. And if i remove dsdt.aml from /Extra... Same thing, same point. If I add NullCPUPM to S/L/E it boots to desktop. I'll try a fresh install and see what happens. Thank you anyway guys, I'll report if I'll made some progress..
  2. Hello guys! thank you once again for your support, unfortunately, with this second dsdt file also, I cannot past the message NVDAStartup: Official at boot, unless NullCpuPM is loaded. I didn't find any track on the internet about injecting the device id of my GPU card into the Nvidia kexts on mavericks.. as described here viewtopic.php?f=18&t=154 do you think it is needed for my card in order to solve this issue?
  3. Hi, thank you for your code! The problem is I'm trying to boot without NullCPUPowerManagement with the dsdt.aml file provided by artur-pt a few posts ago, but the boot process hangs with no KP. There I have: Method (_STA, 0, NotSerialized) { If (LGreaterEqual (OSID (), 0x10)) { Return (0x0F) } Return (Zero) } That looks something similar. @artur-pt Right, in fact the original aicpupm was sent back in S/L/E. and p-states and c-states are been set to Yes in my boot.plist long time ago... <key>GenerateCStates</key> <string>Yes</string> <key>GeneratePStates</key> <string>Yes</string> I don't know what else I should carefully read now...
  4. Hello A short update.. After reading the post install guide post, I patched AICPUPM this way apparently with no success.. Anyway then I've been able to boot twice to maverick's desktop, after a verbose boot with a fsck_hfs (automatically started... ) but after maybe a minute, just the time to open the extension list, I've got KP: No HPETs available...CPU(s) configured incorrectly and then never more, the boot process hangs always where in verbose level I got NVDAStartup: Official. However booting without flags after quite a minute of spinning wheel I've got again No HPETs available KP...
  5. Mmmh.. ok, I did't think NullCPUPowerManagement presence could impact on NVIDIA kexts... Since with that kext the card is working and recognized.
  6. Thank you for your support! I tried to boot with your dsdt.aml in Extra and removing NullCPUPM, but the boot process hangs at "NVDAStartup: Official". Using Chameleon 2.2 svn r2391... I suspect it is not a NVDA issue. Any idea?
  7. Hello, here you go! booted without dsdt.aml and run maciASL Thank you! send-me-and-dsdt.zip
  8. hello artut-pt, yeah! You're right.. I followed the other guy's guide to be able to install. And again you're right, I should never use dsdt from another pc.. So I'm here asking help to get a proper one. And I would love also to learn something more, so maybe I'll be able to patch my pc's dsdt by myself, because I would like to discard nullcpupm and my extra folder contains only boot and smbios plists other than the supposed dsdt. No worries my friend if you can't really really help me anymore.. I owe you a beer anyway!
  9. @artur-pt do you have any advice for my issue? maybe rehabman's system_WAK1.txt or system_WAK2.txt could help? thank you dsdt.aml.zip
  10. Hi guys, I've recently got a Dell Precision M6400 so I successfully installed Mavericks on it. It seems to be very stable and almost everything is working. However I cannot wake from sleep (it seems working without problem): when I press the power button it seems to wakeup but then nothing happens (screen off and no input/output). I'm actually using the patch included in this guide (even if I used myHack to be able to install). here is my send_me file, any advice? Thanks in advance! Send me MacBook Pro di Johnny Tenaglia.zip
  11. a short update: now running lion. tried to modify dsdt starting from deviato's (applehda) one. Only added right LPC device id and DRW. The system loads quickly without nullcpupm. I'm able to go to sleep: everything's off, the power light fades in and out. Perfect. Trying to wake with mouse/keyboard/trackpad, but nothing happens. Only if I click on the logitech usb mouse button its light turns on, but everything else still sleeps. Pushing the power button everything seems to turn back on, fans gradually increase but both display are showing nothing but a square on the top left with its screen portion before sleep flickering. I see the mouse cursor correctly moving on the whole display surfaces. But the system is stuck and not reacting to any other input. I must hold down the power button to shut down. Assuming that it seems a graphic related issue, I tried with GE=no but then I wasn't able to sleep at all. in the kernel log I see Nov 18 14:02:40 myHacky kernel[0]: Wake reason = PBTN LID Nov 18 14:02:40 myHacky kernel[0]: No interval found for . 12. still trying to solve the wakeup issue.. after wakeup I see a small portion of the screen on both displays with flickering garbage over a desktop corner. The system doesn't respond, but the mouse cursor moves correctly.. Maybe it's an issue with the graphic card... And also, sometimes with that patch my usb ports seems to work very slowly.. or sometimes the leftside ones are not working at all
  13. wooooo! with this aicpupm I'm able to boot with native cpu pm and sleep! I used this patch provided by LatinMcG on insanelymac, and avoid KP (no HPETs available). Still cannot correctly wake up, I see garbage on display and I must shut down holding the power button. And sometimes my left side usb ports are not working. But we're almost there... Big thanks for your support!!!
  14. Hmmm.. I've got the old 96.0.0 and now 142.6.0 from 10.6.7 upgrade... Where could I find 105.13.0 ?
  15. There are many different configurations of 1545 inspiron. I tried that one hosted on this site, with no luck. However I'll try it again now. How can I be sure about the correct version of kernel and aicpupm? however my aicpupm should be 142.6.0
