  1. Yeah, that definitely seems to be the case. I was able to successfully test the conversion of my old ASUS ROG gaming laptop(Kaby Lake) into a Hackintosh, but looks like that the Hackintosh only detects the laptop's SATA HDD, but doesn't detect the laptop's M.2 SSD either. I'll be seeing if I can some how get either my HP mini PC's or ASUS' M.2 SSD detectable by the MacOS, my mini PC only has a M.2 SSD available atm which is the device I want the Hackintosh to live in. - The mini PC's M.2 SSD is: SK hynix PC601 HFS256GD9TNG-L2A0A Any further tips or suggestions would be highly appreciated! Thanks again!
  2. I'm having an issue trying to install Catalina onto a CoffeLake HP mini PC(model name: HP ProDesk 400 G5 Desktop Mini PC). I've created a bootable USB Flash Drive by flashing the vanilla MacOS and replacing the EFI folder by deleting the one that was flashed and "Copy&Pasting" the EFI folder from the "Desktop CoffeeLake" that's provided on this site. When I proceed to install the MacOS it doesn't trigger the "Disk Utility" app, but instead it keeps booting regularly. And I've notice that the only way I can trigger the "Disk Utility" is by hiding the M.2 SSD in BIOS, and the issue with that is that the "Internal Drive" isn't detected by "Disk Utility", so I wouldn't be able to install the MacOS onto the M.2 SSD.
