  1. Been driving me nuts trying to find some sort of Lenovo, HP, Dell mini that would support the ability to use here in the office for Plex and things like that. With the help of robots here is what I found out. Here’s a combined overview of Intel CPUs with integrated GPUs such as Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4, G7, and Intel UHD Graphics, along with their relevance to Apple's macOS ecosystem: Intel CPUs with iGPUs: Iris Plus Graphics G4, G7, and UHD Graphics Intel integrated GPUs like Iris Plus Graphics G4, G7 and UHD Graphics were widely used in Intel’s 10th Generation processors (Ice Lake and Comet Lake families). These GPUs were supported by macOS on Intel-based Macs before Apple transitioned to Apple Silicon. Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4 and G7 These iGPUs belong to the Ice Lake (10th Gen) family and are built on Intel’s 10nm process. They deliver improved graphics performance, supporting tasks like light gaming, media editing, and macOS's Metal API for hardware acceleration. Processors with Intel Iris Plus Graphics G4: Intel Core i3-1005G1 Intel Core i3-10110Y Processors with Intel Iris Plus Graphics G7: Intel Core i5-1035G4 Intel Core i5-1035G7 Intel Core i7-1065G7 Intel Core i7-1060G7 Intel UHD Graphics These iGPUs are found in both Ice Lake and Comet Lake (10th Gen) processors. They are designed for everyday tasks like office work, media playback, and light multitasking but have less graphical power compared to Iris Plus. Processors with Intel UHD Graphics: Intel Core i3-10100 Intel Core i3-10100T Intel Core i3-10110U Intel Core i5-10210U Intel Core i5-10300H Intel Core i7-10510U Intel Core i7-10710U Intel Core i9-10980HK Relevance to macOS and Apple Devices Supported by Apple: These GPUs were featured in Apple’s Intel-based Macs, such as: MacBook Air (2020): Intel Core i3/i5 with UHD Graphics and Iris Plus G7. MacBook Pro (2020): Intel Core i5/i7 with Iris Plus G7. Mac mini (2018–2020): Intel Core i3/i5 with UHD Graphics. iMac (2019–2020): Intel Core i3/i5/i7 with UHD Graphics or Iris Plus G7. macOS Optimization: macOS supported these GPUs with hardware acceleration and the Metal API, enabling smooth performance for graphical tasks. Legacy and Transition: With the transition to Apple Silicon (M1/M2), macOS optimization shifted focus away from Intel iGPUs. However, Intel-based Macs with these GPUs remain compatible with recent macOS versions, such as macOS Monterey and Ventura. Choosing Between Iris Plus and UHD Graphics Iris Plus Graphics G4/G7: Recommended for better graphical performance (e.g., photo/video editing, light gaming). UHD Graphics: Suitable for general tasks and basic media consumption. These GPUs provide a reliable experience for macOS users still using Intel-based Macs, but Apple's M-series processors significantly outperform them in both graphics and overall efficiency.

  2. Thank you. I also found this! If anyone else is looking here you go.
  3. Looking around my eyes are getting crossed. Any of you folks have a recommendation for USB wifi adapters ?
  4. Where do I read up on ocip ? https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md#intel-uhd-graphics-610-650-kaby-lake-and-amber-lake-y-processors I found this.
  5. Nice! I'll use the igpu then. I do see issues while using it. TV Room.zipACPI .zip
  6. Core I5-4590 is the CPU in this one. Intel 4600. Might be great with just the iGPU? https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/products/sku/80815/intel-core-i54590-processor-6m-cache-up-to-3-70-ghz/specifications.html?linkId=93554885 GPU Specifications GPU Name‡ Intel® HD Graphics 4600 Graphics Base Frequency 350 MHz Graphics Max Dynamic Frequency 1.15 GHz Graphics Video Max Memory 2 GB Graphics Output eDP/DP/HDMI/VGA Max Resolution (HDMI)‡ 4096x2304@24Hz Max Resolution (DP)‡ 3840x2160@60Hz Max Resolution (eDP - Integrated Flat Panel)‡ 3840x2160@60Hz Max Resolution (VGA)‡ 1920x1200@60Hz DirectX* Support 11.2/12 OpenGL* Support 4.3 Intel® Quick Sync Video Yes Intel® InTru™ 3D Technology Yes Intel® Flexible Display Interface (Intel® FDI) Yes Intel® Clear Video HD Technology Yes # of Displays Supported ‡ 3 Device ID 0x412
  7. I have a couple of these HP 600s we use for our TV Rooms. Im not sure the Video card would work out. These have the Intel IGPU on the CPU. I did get the install done without issue. Again thanks to this site. I need to tune the config for igpu but was wondering if the AMD Radeon R7 450 cards will work under Sequoia. Ideally Id like to use these cards for the TVs that are Samsung 60s if I cant use the IGPU.
  8. Completed working running great still. Thank you! Supermicro X10SRL-F - Intel-based motherboard 128GB (4x32GB) PC4-19200R 2400MHz DDR4 ECC Intel Xeon E5-1660 v4 - 8-core, 16-thread, 140W, 3.20GHz, LGA 2011-3 Intel X540-T2 - 10Gb card AMD RX580 - 8GB Video Card
  9. This is the longest it has ever ran. Try this one Steve’s Mac Pro_NEW.zip
  10. I dont see boot picker option New ioreg attached Steve’s Mac Pro.zip
  11. It booted. Currently using the 10G nic with out issue. I also do not see the former Reset NVRam in the boot menu. That has changed from graphical to terminal style. Can I reset nvram from the OC configurator ? I also donated more to the site. 🙂
  12. ACPI and IOReg attached. ACPI .zip Steve’s Mac Pro.zip
  13. I did create a runme file from runme.app. Nice tool ! I'll grab the others in a bit. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2qpgc4qwex1ke00d9x5t6/Send-me-Steves-Mac-Pro.zip?rlkey=l1le8z0su6yldj6quvszo07lv&dl=0
