  1. Any CNVi card that works on Wifi 7 directly inside MOBO? Or is it Fenvi T919 only?
  2. Maldon Does Wifi onboard card and lan work with this EFI? Matt
  3. Yes. It's a Titan Ridge 1.0. I have a 2.0 Also. Neither will connect. At the moment, the only way i can get the card to recognise is by booting into windows and then restarting into mac. But it is random and also, it consistently crashes the mac after about 1 second. I have managed to get it to connect about 5 times (in mac) doing it this way over the weekend, but it is very random and very unclear. Tried everthing... connecting pins 3&5, connected to SSDT-TB3.aml on RP09 (which is correct). In the final big PCI slot. Also tried in the smaller PCI slot. Not managed to get it to boot in mac on its own, once. I know definitely both cards are perfectly flashed as they A. work (randomly) and B. work perfectly in my Aorus Pro X which has a header (GPI0). Is this board supported for this? is there anyone out there, on this board, with a working Titan Ridge 1.0 or 2.0?
  4. Hi All. I have two Titan Ridge cards, one is a 1.0 the other a 2.0 both flashed, and verified working with my Apollo twin in my Aorus Pro X. The problem is, I am trying to install one of them in my friend's Asus Z690 Tuf Gaming Wifi D4. In the Aorus Pro X it works straight out of the box (with the usual thunderbolt settings in bios). No matter what I do, I can't seem to get this card working on the Tuf. Does anyone out there, have this set up or a working SSDT (with GPI03 enabled - as its not possible to enable this in the Bios). We don't need hotplug. Cheers, Matt
  5. Maldon I have tried for weeks (literally weeks now) to get a stable Sequioa system on my Gigabyte Aorus Pro. I'm going to explain my symptoms in the hope that someone here can help me get to the bottom of this, or I might pay you to help me resolve my system as I need it both for work and for music. Symptoms: Random crashing for no apparent reason Sometimes when I reboot the meter goes exactly halfway across the screen and the system does not boot (requires reset NVRAM and sometimes takes me three or four attempts to get back into OSX). In other words, sometimes boots sometimes doesn't. Appears to happen when I copy files from one drive to another Crashed yesterday trying to update UAD software Crashed regularly when trying to mount EFI Attempts to correct Tried enabling/disabling VT-D. Ran stably on 1.0.2 then I updated OCAT to 1.0.3 and it would kernel panic after about 3 seconds after the picker (white line for three seconds followed by constant reboot cycle). Also updated my kexts to current versions. I then accessed the EFI on another Ventura install I have attached on another SSD and weirdly it seems to have reset my EFI back to previous kexts (i.e. did not seem to take the update). I also have not been able to get ethernet working. My Maple Ridge card is mapped and working on my ventura install but not yet tested. Need stable system first. This morning, I made some changes to the Bios and AGAIN... as soon as I did this I had the white meter going slow to exactly half way again and kernel panic. Seems to happen whenever I make a bios change. Question: Do I need to reset NVram after a bios change? Hardware: Gigabyte Aorus Pro X Z790 (Rev 1.0) Intel i9 14900K chip Onboard wifi card removed - Replaced with Fenvi T919 (working see below) Crucial T705 NVME 1TB (was £200 as I wanted the fastest machine I could buy) - for my main OSX drive (and Logic Pro/Music installation) Crucial P3 1TB - Data drive Sapphire Radeon RX570 4g Corsair Dominator Ram 32g x 2 (64 gig total) Gigabyte 850 PSU Thunderbolt Maple Ridge (I also have two Thunderbolt Titan Ridge cards and one is flashed for mac, bought on Facebook and confirmed as working in another machine) I have custom mapped the ports and created a customised AML file based on the Titan Ridge base AML downloaded from this site). I am yet to test this in Sequoia and not my priority right now as the system is unstable.
