  1. So... it's my first ever laptop in my life, and it was definitely used from what I see, meanwhile I was - and still am - a regular desktop user and if it comes to PC, I know what parts I'm putting in my PC case... doesn't matter. Anyway, the specs are as below: BIOS version - 1.34.0 (updated it as soon as possible, before it was 1.6xx something, I don't remember) Processor: Intel Core i5 8350u 8 GB RAM (one stick only which is rather problematic, because from what I see it's a stick from... some Lenovo, called "Lenovo FRU 01AG710") NVME disk 256 GB from Samsung, called "MZ-VLB2560" (or "S41GNX0M117758", and no, I can't use a regular SSD because I didn't get any adapter with this laptop) GPU - Intel UHD Graphics 620 Audio Controller - Realtek ALC3246 Wi-FI Device - Intel Wireless... and that's all the BIOS says, but I guess it's this "thing", called "8265NGW". or way better specs after I used Linux live cd installation to check exactly: Machine: Type: Laptop System: Dell product: Latitude 5490 v: N/A serial: EDITED Chassis: type: 10 serial: EDITED Mobo: Dell model: ODH2HV v: AGO serial: /EDITED/ part-nu: 0816 UEFI: Dell v: 1.34.0 date: 01/29/2024 Battery: ID-1: BATO charge: 39.8 Wh (95.9%) condition: 41.5/68.0 Wh (61.0%) volts: 8.1 min: 7.6 model: BYD DELL KCM8289 serial: 9780 status: discharging CPU: Info: quad core model: Intel Core i5-8350U bits: 64 type: MT MCP arch: Coffee Lake rev: A cache: Ll: 256 KiB L2: 1024 KiB L3: 6 MiB Speed (MHz): avg: 426 high: 609 min/max: 400/360 cores: 1: 609 2: 400 3: 400 4: 400 5: 400 6: 400 7: 400 8: 400 bogomips: 30409 Flags: avx avx2 ht lm nx pae sse sse2 sse3 sse4_1 sse4_2 ssse3 vmx Graphics: Device-1: Intel UHD Graphics 620 vendor: Dell driver: i915 v: kernel arch: Gen-9.5 ports: active: eDP-1 empty: DP-1,HDMI-A-1,HDMI-A-2 bus-ID: 00:02.0 chip-ID: 8086:5917 Display: server: X.org v: 1.21.1.13 with: Xwayland v: 23.2.6 driver: X: loaded: modesetting alternate: fbdev, intel, vesa dri: iris gpu: 915 display-I0: :0 note: <missing: xdpyinfo/xrandr> Monitor-1: eDP-1 model: BOE Display 0x0810 res: 1920x1080 dpi: 158 diag: 354mm (13.9") API: OpenGL Message: Unable to show GL data. glxinfo is missing. I also added possibly all the necessary (and not necessary) "Tools" (which, by a miracle, work). I'm not sure what to do, I'm guessing there's still something wrong or unsupported so... I need advices. Also I don't even know what kind of MacOS I am supposed to install at all, so I downloaded them all and right now I am juggling Ventura, Big Sur and even Sonomo installations.
