I have a NVIDIA GT 1030 on my Haswell Hackintosh and want to install the root patches for the NVIDIA Web driver but it says it can’t do that because the things like acpi are already enabled how can I fix that issue please

I want to install Ventura on Skylake laptop on a 80GB HDD but when I’m half way through the spinny boy stops spinning and after 30 secs it just says that the installer is damaged

I have macOS Ventura installed on my hp laptop now and I want to do the EFI file thing but my problem is that I already have windows installed so I already have the EFI folder. That’s why I opened the Ventura mod folder to paste it’s content in the existing folder but I have a folder called Boot in both (rather Boot and BOOT) so I haven’t done anything yet. Is the BOOT folder necessary or can I maybe just rename it?

I assume you already mounted the EFI drive. If yes, you may download Explorer ++, extract the .zip and run explorer++.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR!!! Then you should be able to access the EFI. Then, just copy and paste the EFI folder in there. Make sure to do all within Explorer++ and to first delete the existing EFI folder on the drive

Hello, it’s me again. I have now managed to get the usb working with Ventura and the Ventura mod skylake EFI folders. I formatted my other disk to Apfs but when I now try to install Ventura it gives me the error message shown above. I have an hp elitebook 840 g3 with the i5 6300u and an intenso aluline 64 GB usb 2 Stick (if that matters). While any help would be appreciated, I would prefer nobody sending me some links to some article here - I have gone trough pretty all of the threads with this topic and links to some article don’t help me. I have no acces to any macOS device and I have tried the date 111213142019 method (I don’t remember all the numbers) thanks in advance!

So I wanted to install macOS Sonoma(?) on my HP EliteBook 840 G3. I got the 14.2.1 raw image as torrent, the Sha1’s matched. I Etchered it onto a Intenso 64 GB USB 2 AluLine Stick, replaced the original EFI files with the “official” MOD EFI files for Skylake as I have the i5-6300U variant and I managed to get to the menu offering windows, macOS and clear Nvme cache(?). I cleared the Nvme cache, it restarted, I wanted to go to macOS but I only got to a black screen showing a circle with a line in it (? just like this but in grey) and Apple.com/startup Secure boot ist disabled and I also tried with some other EFI files on Google Drive and I got the same problem.
