Well I tried the recommended platform I'd, which didn't work, and I tried the default, which ended up in the blinking screen It's a desktop so I havent tried laptop platform IDs, if that's what you want to say...

First of all I know it's been a long time since I started this post, but I have updates. Using -igfxvesa boot-arg only gives 7mb video memory. Removing the -igfxvesa boot-arg fixes the graphics memory to 1536 mb, but then the screen starts blinking. Here's my current OC folder. OC.zip

I still don't know how to change pre-allocated dvmt, idk if that's what the issue is, idk where to put those properties in the config.plist...

I'm pretty sure I'm using opencore, and that guide is for clover, I don't know if things are same or different. I'm not a very technical person so I don't know how to change preallocated vram because the option isn't in my bios. I went through the guide you mentioned but still I really don't understand what to do.

I've used the CometLake MOD EFI folder as a base for this because the normal folder didn't boot. I tried to follow the Dortania guide and make my own EFI folder but that didn't work either. I've gone through the Dortania guide many many times, looking for a solution, I've checked the net for solutions but none work. It only shows 7 mb on the About Mac page.
