That's exactly what I did but on Windows 10. I don't have a MAC.
I download this:
- Sonoma 14 Beta 7 with EFI folder for chipset series 300, 400 and 500
- NoteBook KabyLake Download HERE
Than I followed the tutorial.
- Created a bootable USB Pen drive with Balena with the Sonoma 14 Beta 7 with EFI folder for chipset series 300, 400 and 500
- Delete old EFI folder and paste new. Don't use merge files.
- Past the downloaded EFI to the EFI on the USB Pen Drive.
- Reset NVRAM one time - with OpenCore use entry "Reset Nvram" / with Clover use F11 key on boot screen
