  1. @arthur-pt Incorrect Image Signature!!! Sorry for bothering you again. I mistakenly installed chimera with multi beast. Although you clearly said to use Chameleon, even on IRC last time (hope you remember). So I installed chameleon RC4 over it (read somewhere that they overwrite each other) using this guide: http://www.phacks.net/how-to-install-chameleon-boot-loader-v2/. My OSX partition was at same position as mentioned in the guide. When I boot I can see chameleon, but when I select OSX, i get error: "Incorrect Image Signature". My partition structure is GUID. HF+(OSX installed) -> FAT(kept for win7) -> FAT(for storage) -> FAT(storage) -> Free Space(For Swap) -> FAT(kept for Ubuntu12.04) Right now I have just OSX installed. I can boot to OSX through the bootable USB but not through chameleon. EDIT: Got it working now. Installed RC6 and it worked. But my keyboard and touchpad stopped working. So I installed: VoodooPS2Trackpad.kext AppleACPIPS2Nub.kext VoodooPS2Controller.kext Now it works fine. But now it shows my touchpad as a mouse. Not a major issue but gestures are not working now, like edge scrolling, two-finger scrolling, etc. Any help?
  2. Mountain Lion is a 64-bit OS. Are you sure your processor supports 64-bit architecture? I guess that might be the problem.
  3. Got USB booting. Burned file to USB through linux command line and set up USB partitions. I have some questions: 1. Is it necessary to remove them or just precautionary for my system with only GMA 4500MHD graphics. I tried booting without deleting them and it booted. 2. Is it possible to install OS X keeping my current OS intact (Win7+Ubuntu 12.04 dual-boot) with GRUB being the default boot loader? Most guides on the internet advice to install OS X first, then win7 and then ubuntu/linux.
  4. Sorry, but it doesn't boots at all. I have already removed all appleintelhd*.kext. There is just a black screen for 2 seconds and then my normal bootloader. My issue is that the USB isn't booting at all, although it is at the top in boot-order and I have also tried selecting it manually from the boot device list. I can only try commands when I get a boot prompt or something. But all I get is my normal bootloader.
  5. Sorry but it didn't worked First I removed: System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphics.kext System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphicsFB.kext But it didn't helped Then I removed these too: System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphicsGA.plugin System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHDGraphicsVADriver.bundle But again no help. Didn't worked in any case. It still pauses for 2 seconds and then GRUB continues. I hope everything is OK with the USB and files that were written to USB. http://imgur.com/ZFOnH http://imgur.com/f4NNN
  6. Thanks for your suggestion. Will try that. I just want xcode running, nothing else. Couldn't get much performance in VMware that's why going for a hackintosh dual boot. Actually I want a triple boot. ML + Win7 + Ubuntu. (same order, GRUB last) Any warnings or suggestions about triple boot?
  7. config: Processor: Intel Core2Duo 2.1 GHz Ram: 2GB DDR3 Graphics: GMA 4500MHD (Accelerated upto 1GB)
  8. Got your torrent for Mountain Lion USB for PC. I tried making bootable USB through both SUSE Studio and Win32 Image Writer from Windows. Both wrote successfully, but when I try to boot the USB, it doesn't boots. Normal bootloader appears after a few seconds. Please help P.S: USB is at top in Boot Order. Already tried switching SATA to AHCI from IDE. Dual boot Windows 7 + Ubuntu 12.04 system. Bootloader: GRUB Model: HP CQ 420 Motherboard: Intel Mobile 4 Series Cannot try DVD, my DVD-ROM doesn't works.
