OpenCore doesn't work with older GPUs

Hi, I've got an issue where OpenCore doesn't work correctly with older GPUs like the GT 9600 and HD 4870 because it displays a resolution the monitor can't understand. I've had luck with using different monitors with the GT 9600, but with the HD 4870 nothing works. Does anyone have any clue why OpenCore does this? Thanks!
