Just updated my system that I built in 2015 to Monterey following a Youtube guide that uses the methods listed on this site.
All went well and the machine works very well but I would like to remove the scrolling text that accompanies the start-up and shut-down routine. I think this is activated by the -v argument, how do I delete this?
After a couple of days I got a Software Update message from Apple that a macOS Ventura Beta update was available, is it safe to update to this? and does my system actually support Ventura?
