How to do that in clover without injecting nvidia?

It's doesn't work, injecting or not. The only way is NV_DISABLE=1 and I don't have video card acceleration, resolutions etc. Maybe I need dsdt?

Hello, help please. My config: Asus Rampage IV Formula X79 Intel i7-3930k 16GB Corsair DDR3 1866Mhz Nvidia GT 630 2GB. My problem is the video card. I used it in another hacintosh with Sierra without problems, just using INJECT NVIDIA in Clover. But here when desktop should appear, system reboots. If I use NV_DISABLE=1, i can reach the desktop but without graphic acceleration and possibility to change resolution. In profile it says NVIDIA CHIP MODEL 5MB. Hope you can do the trick. Bios is ok. Launched Ubuntu live from USB and it recognize XHCI without problem with lspci command from terminal. Only mac os x doesn't recognize it.

Nothing with yosemite with genericusbxhci. The most incredible thing is that I installed Windows 10 Pro x64, VMware Workstation Pro 15, used vmware unlocker, installer 3 virtual machines with os x (mavericks with genericusbxhci, sierra and high sierra native) and ALL OF THOSE have usb 3.0 working at full speed! They work in virtual machines and don't work in my sierra native install? Why isn't my xhci controller seen by the system?

I knew that genericusbxhci works on yosemite, not on el capitan... sierra etc. I'm using 10.12.6. When I have time, I will install mavericks and use genericusbxhci. Let's understand if the problem is sierra or my controller. If you have other suggestions, just continue replying.

Under Windows 10 it says: Intel usb 3.0 extensible host controller, shown in the attached image. Under DPCIMANAGER there are only 2 controllers usb 2.0, no xhci.

Hello all, I have a problem with intel usb 3.0 ports. My laptop is a Dell Mobile Workstation M6700: cpu i7-3940xm extreme qm77 chipset 24gb ram ddr3 1600mhz nvidia quadro k3000m 2gb gdrr5 (I use this as my video card, optimus disabled in bios) 17,3" fullhd 1920x1080 ssd1 samsung 850 250gb (windows 10 os) ssd2 crucial mx300 525gb (downloads) ssd3 crucial mx300 750gb (caddy) (data and virtual machines) ssd4 lite-on msata 256gb (sierra mac os) 5 usb ports: 2 usb 2.0 (work flowlessly) 1 usb/eSata combo port (work flowlessly) 2 usb 3.0 intel ports (work as 2.0 ports) I can't figure it out to make 3.0 ports work at their full speed. Tried usbinjectall.kext and clover port limit patch for sierra (and rename ehc1 to eh01.....), nothing. Tried dsdt.amd patching with 7-series/8-series usb, nothing (this method worked for other 2 laptops) Tried fakepciid.kext + fakepciid_xhcimux.kext, nothing. They always work as 2.0 ports. In profiler there are 2 usb 2.0 controllers ehci. Not an XHCI is shown/found. Hope you can give me some advice to fix the problem.

with nv_disable, of course, I can't reach desktop, because as I wrote I'm using nvidia quadro k3000m as gpu, not the intel hd 4000 (optimus disabled in bios).

I used applehda patcher and it says I have layout-id 3... and as soon as I installed, the audio was working. After some reboots, no audio. I sometimes replaced applehda.kext with a copy I saved as backup. And audio works again. Reboot is very often slow. When I click restart, it goes on black screen and wait 10-15 seconds before Toshiba logo appears again...

Thanks a lot! I did what you wrote. Noticed nvidia disabled by dsdt. What patch did you use? And must I remove acpi fixes in clover conf.plist? Question about audio: I use adummy.kext method. Often AppleHDA.kext is not loaded and even if I see the volume/speaker icon in the menu bar, I have no audio. In system prefs, it is correctly shown "internal speaker" "built-in". I repaired permission for kext folders, rebuilt the cache many time (with kext utility) but still having this problem. I'm booting with Ignore Cache option in Clover until it will be all ok.
