  1. Hey man, great work on keeping the L702x updated I'm doing the same with my old (but reliable) XPS 15z (L511z, similar processor i7-2640m) and have a few questions: 1. Could you attach the trackpad prefpane (or let me know what patches/changes to be made to the voodoo kexts)? 2. Does your L702x have proper sleep/wake, and if so how did you manage to solve it? 3. The 15z currently on Catalina and it works pretty well but have heard these 2nd-gen processors have an issue to get working on Monterey. Do you have efficient power management with your XPS 17? Congrats again on the great initiative! Your notebook does have UEFI but you'll need to flash a custom BIOS. A long time ago I had written a howto, which you can find here: https://www.bios-mods.com/forum/Thread-UEFI-Dell-XPS-15z-L511z-modded-BIOS-and-HOWTO
  2. I tried many times but PCI0.TRP0.PXSX doesn’t work Also I’ve tried to spoof the device-id using deviceproperties in OC. I can successfully change the Model string but the device-id remains EF730000 not FF730000. Not sure what I’m doing wrong here…
  3. Hi @MaLd0n - need your expertise here as I am properly stumped by this problem. Have upgraded the RX580 (which was working fine) to an RX6650XT, but for some reason I cannot spoof the device-id to FF730000, whenever I try adding an SSDT or patching in device-properties. Have attached my full ioreg and gfxutil screenshots, maybe you can see something I've missed? ioreg+gfxutil.zip
  4. Hi allI have an issue regarding eGPU usage on Alder-Lake laptops; not sure if anyone's managed to do this yet. I've successfully managed to get the Dell XPS 9520 Alder Lake laptop to work with Monterey, even without an external eGPU, in vesa non-accelerated mode the i9-1200HK is really fast. More details on my github here: https://github.com/jkbuha/XPS-9520-AlderLake-OpenCore I have an issue regarding the use of the laptop screen when connected in eGPU configuration. When I connect any EGPU (such as the Radeon RX580) I can only get screen output (which is accelerated) by connecting an external monitor directly to the eGPU card, and the laptop display just shows the initial verbose boot messages (doesn't switch off). Is it possible to drive both the LVDS laptop screen and the external monitor? Thanks!
