  1. So the WD Blue is crap? No way to fix it? How can I get to it and wipe it? I don't get access to erasing it with traditional methods.
  2. motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 CPU: i7 6700K Skylake Memory: 16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2400 MHz DDR4 DRAM Graphics: Sapphire RX6600 Network WIFI: Apple Broadcom BCM94360CD - 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC with Bluetooth 4.0 SSD: WD Blue SN570 2TB Is there a know problem with the WD Blue SN570? I've had many issues getting this new install of Monterey to work properly. I've had some help from MaLd0n. With his help, I finally got it to boot from my new NVME drive. It worked for a week or so but I thought boot times were slower than my previous Sierra install on an old SATA SSD. Now the Monterey install is back to freezing midway through the GUI boot screen. Even though the "-v" boot arg is there I'm not getting verbose. I decided to try installing Monterey on the old SATA SSD and it was so smooth quick and easy. Boot times are super quick. I can see the NVME drive and access it through this, but nothing seems to change with being able to boot with that drive. I can't even erase and reinstall. It always says that drive is in use even though I didn't boot from it. I tried using terminal to reformat and it won't even let me do that. Maybe I'm using the wrong commands I'm not sure. Is there a know problem with the WD Blue SN570?
  3. No. Igpu is disabled in BIOS. Monitor is connected to Sapphire ex 6600 with HDMI.
  4. Well I tried that EFI. Once without the DSDT (applekeystore failed), and once with it (hangs on txflush 1170). Neither would boot from SSD without the USB stick. I then tried it with the USB stick and couldn’t get it to boot at all (txflush 1170 and IOCONSOLEUSERS: gIO screenlockstate). I’m not sure what to do anymore.
  5. This site doesn't allow me to attach the EFI folder as it is 1 mb above the limit. https://easyupload.io/cneymb EFI zip
  6. I did not put the DSDT on the USB stick. On the SSD, I thought I was supposed to put the DSDT in the ACPI folder for both Clover and OC and patched in OCconfigurator.
  7. Ok. I patched OC in OC configurator. Tried to reboot without USB stick and it freezes on: In memory panic stackshot succeeded **Bytes Traced 4891 (Uncompressed 12784)** Attempting system restart MACH Reboot
  8. Just to confirm. I must edit config in both clover and OC?
  9. Here is my RunMe zip:https://easyupload.io/p1h3d5 Installation of Monterey successful. I've copied the EFI to the SSD after complete install. Working: WIFI, internal sound and HDMI sound, Saphire Rx6600 Not Working: Bluetooth. AppleID-imessage-icloud(not sure yet as I want to make sure it boots first). It still won't boot without the USB stick after copying EFI to SSD. Freezes on: PCI (Build 14:23:33 Aug 10,2022),Flags 0xc 3080
