  1. I'm guessing and found this (http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-Ideapad-09143YU-15-6-Inch-Laptop/product-reviews/B004G608VU) review of about the same model of computer...they said it was an Elantech. Do you know where I could get another version of the perfPane? The only thing that has gotten it to work is removing that trackpad kext. Anyhoo, thanks again for your help!
  2. Ok, I did it using your directions and the same thing happened. I can use the trackpad, I just don't have double finger scrolling. The trackpad prefpane in preferences says "No trackpad found" and when I click on the VoodooPS2 prefpane it says "ApplePS2SynapticsTouchPad not found" and then it opens. Then it just quits if I adjust anything. Any ideas?
  3. Woah?! I got it to work with this http://chameleon.osx86.hu/file_download/25/VoodooPS2Controller-0.98-installer.pkg No double finger scrolling, though. Any idea how I might be able to get double finger scrolling?
  4. Yeah, I think it's an Elantech. I'm doing another fresh install of OS X and I'll give it a go. Thanks for the pointers, guys. Do you have that particular kext, Cassio? I only see VooodooPS2Controller and VoodooPS2Trackpad in multishit.
  5. That didn't work either...I just removed kexts, then applied the dsdt using multishit, and restarted the computer. Should I maybe reinstall OS X all over again and try from scratch? Thanks so much for your help. I'm really looking forward to getting this fixed.
  6. Hey Maldo, My laptop's specs are as follows Lenovo IdeaPad Z560 0914-4GU - i5-480M 4GB/128GB SSD G310M i used the following kexts with iboot appleACPIPS2Nub.kext, AppleHDADisablerkext, FakeSMC.kext, VoodooBattery.kext, and VoodooPS2Controller.kext Whatever I do, I cannot use my trackpad.
