Now I got past the KP ... But when it boots, loads all hfs files, then just reboots to bios.. Can't take picture or see error because there is not enough time Thoughts? Still works fine if I boot from USB stick.. What is the difference?

yes I have tried the procedure and it although it works it creates a kernal panic in acpi.. how do i fix the kernal panic

I have an Asus G72gx laptop core2 duo p8700 ich10 nvidia geforce gtx 260m azalia hd sound The computer will only boot using usb stick. There is no sound and no multiple monitor support. when I try to boot normally from hard disk I get the "boot0" error. When I do the fix for the error, it tries to boot then gets kernal panic regarding acpi argghhh.. . this is so aggravating. I have read hundreds of forum pages all over the net, tried to make a dsdt.aml file, tried a million different kexts. Somewhere I saw that ASUS bios always have this power management kernal panic.
