Question: Do I really need to have a DSDT?? I have gotten everything I need to work just by using multishit, my only real problem is a CMOS problem in which everytime I reboot my OSX partition it resets the bios date and time which affects only my bios and my Windows partitions.. The CMOS Reset doesn't change my Mac partition's date and time, as in my OSX install is OK.. But my Bios and Windows partition TIME always gets messed up everytime I reboot or shutdown my OSX install.

Hi guys, So I'm on ML and I've tried several workarounds all over the net but somehow I just can't fix the bios reset issue. My problem is that my OSX doesn't have the date and time problem, OSX actually has a proper date and time. The problem is it resets the date and time in my PC's bios AND Right now I have my Hackintosh dual booting with Windows 7 (On a different drive) and every reboot from my Mac partition resets the bios date and time and it affects my Windows partition. I've tried this guide: http://blog.yerkanian.com/2012/08/05/cmos-reset-error-on-os-x-10-8-mountain-lion-after-wake-from-sleep/ I also tried replacing APPLERTC with the one from 10.7.4 from another guide. No go.

Hi guys, Hopefully I'm in the right section. I have a question. What are C-States and P-states and do I need them?? I just finished installing ML and so far so good, finally got everything working including the detection of both my SLI'd GTX570 with full resolution and 3D working. My processor is over clocked with the usual must turn off OC settings in the bios, C1E, Speedstep, turbo etc... Basically my only problem is with regards to C-States and P-states and do I need to enable them??? Hackrig is as follows: Xeon X5677 @4.02 Gigabyte X58a-UD7 3 x Gskill Trident Extreme @ 1610 2 x Palit GTX570 Sonic Platinum 1 x WD 640 Black Connected to my LED TV via (GPU1) DVI to HDMI (TV)

Thanks! do I edit the whole string including the "0x000010&0x0000ffff" to make it have the same values as the one in my NVADAGF100??? or just the ID part?? string>0x108110de&0x0000ffff

Forgive me if it's been asked before but how does one insert his dev id to NVDAResman?? I've already done it to NVDAGF100 but don't know where to insert in nvdaresman... Been looking for guides everywhere and been trying trial n error which results in me doing a fresh install all the times i've failed. I've already reinstalled ML 12 times bcoz of the rezman part.. Can't get full resolution on my hack. System is: Xeon x5677 Gigabyte x58a ud7 rev2 3 x 2gb 1 x wd black Gtx570 Sonic platinum Connected to my monitor via hdmi (which is also getting overscan issues) Can u give an example regarding the rezman part please???
