AirDrop hardware macOS BigSur

As far as I am informed, AirDrop works by finding the desired device via Bluetooth and after sending via WiFi (like WiFi direct on android) . Does this mean that MAYBE it could, even if the two devices are not on the same card, buying the appropriate USB bluetooth adapter + WiFi adapter?

Hello. I have the following configuration: Asus Rog Strix b450 f gaming Ryzen 7 3700x Radeon 5600XT So far, so good! But as I don't have bluetooth and wifi card, I dont have AirDrop. I would like to buy a card that will allow me to use it AirDrop, on the forum I found it only mentioned Fenvi T919. Can another card work the same since I can't find this one in my country, and the postage through Amazon or AlExpress is over $ 300 ?
