Hi, My laptop has two gpu. Intel HD 3000 and Nvidia GT 550M. My first wish is to switch off nvidia gpu. It's always running and result is half battery life. There is an application called Bumblebee. It's brings nvidia oprimus gpu switching to linux. It also can switch off nvidia gpu. Can somebody port it to Mac Os X? http://bit.ly/jA4fN4

There is should be a trick. How we able to disable nvidia gpu under windows 7? A software is switching it off. May be someone can be code a tiny application to disable nvidia gpu? Is that not possible?

i reinstall the system again for you.. system crashed again.. i take a photo but phone's usb cable is at office. i will post tomorrow.. i think i can't describe my problem clearly.. when i use that dsdt.aml (dsdt.macool.zip), os x lion never booting again.. no chance to try any other dsdt.. system is not booting in safe mode, verbose mode, single user mode.. none of them..

i'm really afraid to use that dsdt.aml again forgive me.. i have installed system 3 times..

i do clean install with your guide.. done. when i used dsdt.aml that you gave me, system is not booting anymore.. with it, without it. reinstall system again..

Hi, I have these important problems; 1. Intel HD 3000 + 1920x1080 panel = Greenish stretched screen. (Dual Link thingy) 2. Battery life. 3 hours and 30 minutes under Win7, 2 hours and 15 minutes under Os X. Fan exhaust is always warm. (Maybe SpeedStep) 3. No sleep. 4. No shutdown. But under Os X around 2 hours and 15 minutes. - Intel HD Graphics 3000 Mobile It has dual link problem. Os X recognized it as well. But screen has green stretch problem. I haven’t able to patch my DSDT.aml correctly. I’m getting 147 errors when I added duallink fix. I do everything correctly (I have little bit programming skill, this way I’m doing fix correctly, but compiler occurring 147 errors, this is insane, i have no any idea why this is happening) I tried another DSDT.aml (same machine N53SN). Graphics working but brightness gone. LCD Panel is working with almost half brightness. If I delete all related AppleIntelHD*.kext, brightness is normal but have no QE/CI) - Give me advise about; What can I do about DSDT.aml patching for green screen artifacts? What can I do about Brightness? I want full brightness. What can I do about CPU SpeedStep? Fan is over heated. What can I do about battery Life? What can I do about sleep and shutdown?
