  1. when I try to install that clover boot manager tool on my Mac the installation fails. Any ideas?

  4. Nah dw about it. I did try both a usb 2 and 3 port.
  5. ok so I did get the usb to boot by following the OC guide to add legacy support but now it jut hangs at a blinking cursor. Any ideas?
  6. Even after the bios update it fails to boot, so I think I have to go the legacy method. I am sorry to say though I cannot find the part of the guide that you mentioned. Where can I find it?
  7. There is an option between fdd and HDD under your first highlight, as for the second highlight the pic I uploaded that just has an advanced tab is what is in that menu

  10. The USB will boot in another PC. Secondly, where do I get or enable csm. 3rdly the laptop sees the USB it just can't boot From it.
  11. sure it is the the protege r830 from Toshiba. I also found out the other stuff I had to do and I did copy the sandy bridge folder over, but the laptop still refuses to boot the usb.
  12. I am attempting to boot the Big sur precompiled iso on my legacy laptop with a sandy bridge cpu. I am assuming this is because the iso is made for uefi systems. Would it be possible to get it to boot on a legacy system? (Yes ik big Sur doesn't have ogpu support for that chip but I have a way that I am gonna use to try and fix that)
