My fault, in nevoursness i forgot to enable thunderbolt. So right now everything is good and running. I would recommend to use seperate ethernet card for correct usage.

So, i just overinstalled on the existing system and it boots again. I did built in the Acquantia Card again with a kernel patch which is needed according other sources. But right now Thunderbolt isnt working anymore. Thunderbolt has worked before. I ran runme again with the DSDT.AML in the EFI. Could you please check Thunderbolt config. I‘m with you i guess its a kextcache problem. But how could i fix it. My backups are 4month old. So i would rather like to fix it somehow if there is a way…

How to solve that?

The following happend: yesterday i built in the ASUS XG-C100C 10G. After that i could boot with EFI with DSDT.aml. The Asus Ethernet was recognised out of the box but in EN2. Besides that i have a Fenvie Wifi Bluetooth Card in the system. Then i sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist to reset Networkadapter to get EN0 for Ethernet. After reboot i cant boot anymore. I took out both Cards Fenvie and Asus Ethernet and tried to boot with USB Stick witz only ssdt olarilla in it. I tried to disable all Ethernet Kext and boot without, no help. Please see image attached https://www.transfernow.net/dl/20211217xErBfQnZ

There is indicated on the pictures that you have Intel210 and not 225. did you use other PCI Ethernet Card?

I found a way it works and after resetting with sudo rm /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist it was correct in EN0. You need to include two FakePCIDKext and add some device properties. Thanks. What Hardware Acceleration? Primary GPU (RX580) HW Acceleration? I saw for Z490 Vision D you used iMac 20.x. Why its applicable there? Any other Issues with iMac 20.x? I already have lots of software and things prepared and authorized for iMac 20.x. Thats why i'm asking. If its only HW GPU Acceleration i could live without. Thanks for your message. The first attempt it didn't boot. I cleaned the boot args of the NVRAM like agdpmod=pikera as i do not have a polaris card. I have a RX 580. After that i could finally boot with your EFI. I did change from imacpro to SMBIOS 20,2. I want to use this SMBIOS. Are you able to create the DSDT.aml as well for iMac 20.2? Ok will do tomorrow. I will add debug=0x100 and keepsyms=1 hopefully to see where there is an issue in the boot process. -v (verbose) is set already. Why you didnt set debug=0x100 and keepsyms=1?

I did. It doesnt work. please offer some solutions. I cant proceed like that. I proposed two solutions. I already built two machines i kinda know what i‘m doing at least configuration wise. But i need your help to proper configure your EFI if you want that i use this that you are able to send me the dsdt. I used bios in default by loading optimised default settings only disabling CSM and your EFI for Comet Lake. And it doesnt boot as already described.

I did. With default bios settings you will run settings like fast boot which will never works i guess…My bios was configured ok, when i could boot with another EFI should proof thatbios was configured ok. Please have a look into the other EFI, tell me what to recomfigure or reconfigure it that your scripts work. Dont know what to change that your EFI works.

I did so and didnt adapt anything first in your EFI. But as stated i cant boot with your EFI. While booting with yours i get an instant reboot while the booting process. Thats why i sent you the Efi which was working. Whats the best way to proceed? You will have a look into the EFI with the one i can boot and you tell me what to leave out as you can run your scripts with the dump i sent you. Or you can tell me what i could change in you EFI that i can boot. I use the Mobo in the description here and a 10900K. thanks in advance

Hi MaLd0n I tried with the Olarila EFI Folder for Comet Lake tried to adapt, but i had no luck. So i tried one from github this one worked. Is it possible for you to generate a DSDT with this EFI i used here? I will put the Send me dump and the EFI in the upload. Does the Pro Art Z490 has CFG lock disabled by default? Guess theres no such setting in asus bios. Where is standard EFI for Pro Art Z490? I cant see it in the original post. best Regards samuel
