Well you can start by using maldon efi's, they already include both lilu and whatevergreen kexts and you will need both.

The nvidia gpu wont work, you amd rx 580 will, i have a rx 560 myself...works very good in my sierra. btw if its the chinese rx580 you maybe need aditional steps to get it working.

i prefer avoiding that brand at all for hackintosh but its good to know this, thx

If your card have a xfx bios its not going to work, i recommend using saphire or gigabyte bios for best compatibility..according to my tests gigabyte is the best at least here.

Update, due to weird bugs (really weird kernel panic or something with ahci) i have returned to sierra, works fine with my rx560D, much faster than newer versions, i even created my customized efi based of what maldon recommended for me, everything works even better right now..stable solid experience, app store working fine too.. x3440 h55cm rx560D 4gb bios modded with biostar bios (xfx bioses are incompatible and cause bootloop or kernel panic) 16gb ddr3 3000gb combined storage custom configuration gg, thanks for everything maldon, if someone comes here asking about help with the same config sierra is the way, its old but works very...very well.

Ok i modified the image and now i can boot, what i have done is creating a vm of macos high sierra running in virtualbox, after that i installed Clover_v2.5k_r5070.pkg in my pendrive, with the options to install clover in esp and the right boot sector is boot0af (at least for me), with just that i was able to boot but in order to fix blackscreen what i have done is to use hdmi instead of dvi/displayport, so if you like me have a husky rx560, veneida rx560..they will only work if you use hdmi, dont use dvi or displayports..also use whatevergreen kext and lilu with radeondeinit..btw the whole precedure is being done with mojave in mind but should be the same with big sur or monterey too..its something related to the vbios.. h55 and x3440 shall live again hahahahah

Well the thing is, i have a rx560d and im trying to install mojave on my x3440 but your raw images wont boot in legacy machines anymore, what can be done to fix that? Cmon man your work was amazing sometime ago, and now we cant even boot on legacy machines, we dont have access to a mac computer to install clover esp, so you can provide me a legacy raw image or for people like me? There is a bunch of us out there and i want to use your images again..pls btw im havingsome blackscreen issues after apple logo, im convinced that with your images i will obtain success, but i cant even boot them anymore..and i dont have a mac to create the usb.. well i guess i will try using virtualbox here..

i have a x3440 that i used to install macos sierra normally (everything works), my motherboard is the h55h-cm from ics, my videocard is a gtx 960 2gb..i suspect it has anything to do with my machine being legacy (bios boot) the new system images here support it? because i cant boot on monterey and bigsur (same black screen on both) Created pendrive using balena etcher and tried to install = black screen Created pendrive, changed EFI from one from here = black screen I even tried to use others efi folders to see if works, If the new images cant boot on bios systems you can provide me the old ones with clover please? why there is not a opencore efi folder for CHIPSET SERIES 5, 6, 7, 8, 9? there is one for clover, but none for opencore and according to you this is the right one for my machine. please help

Após várias tentativas constatei que neste hardware somente o sierra funciona com perfeição, estou utilizando tranquilamente, btw na época me esqueci de agradecer mas obrigado mesmo maldon, baita site que vc tem aqui..sierra vanilla rodando 100% sem mais nenhum crash.

This is exactly what im using right now, i replaced the one on my efi partition with this one --CHIPSET SERIES 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 (NEHALEM / SANDY BRIDGE / IVY BRIDGE / HASWELL / BROADWELL) Still the same problem.

Im trying to do a hackintosh using olarila vanilla high sierra img but cant boot into the installer, tried many flags like -x -v -s -f -F nv_enable and Graphics_Enabler too Just crashes on acpi patcher and reboots my pc ECS H55CM INTEL XEON X3440 8GB DDR3 GTX 960 2GB GIGABYTE SATA HD 2TB SEAGATE BARRACUDA Tried yosemite, sierra and high sierra but same result..sometimes crashing and rebooting on the apple logo. Btw i already using an efi folder for my chipset from here and does not fix my problem..looks like a kernel panic issue.. Anyone can help me?
