  1. I installed Mountain Lion using USB drive (method described in very same forum). Since I have Sandy Bridge CPU, I was struggling to enable its onboard HD 3000 graphics. But, out of curiosity, just now I installed Mountain Lion update 10.8.1 from Apple, my AMD Radeon HD 7670 (1GB) was detected as ATI Radeon 6840 and I booted without using GE=No. I also got full resolution (1600x900). Now how will know in my QE/CI is enabled? I am getting artifacts sometimes. Also, I had option of switching GPU from HD 3000 and AMD Radeon. So how to know wcich GPU is active right now? Because, though it detects my AMD card during booting, System info shows resolution 1600x900 below my HD3000.
  2. Solution: My problem was solved after installing an update for Java from Apple. For those who might face similar problem. here's its link: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1515 Java Control Panel won't open though.. .. But I can run System Info and DSDT Editor..
  3. As Java SE Runtime is not installed on Mac OS X 10.8 ML, I downloaded it from oracle website. Now I have JavaSE Runtime 7u7 installed. But when I try to open Java based app, it again asks for JavaSE 6 Runtime. When I try to open Java Control Panel, it throws me error "Java Control Panel quit unexpectedly while using the libjvm.dylib plug-in. I am not sure whether this is right place to post this issue or not. I need it to run 2 very important apps, System Info and DSDT Editor. Solution?
