thanks for your help in IRC, how to mount EFI parition on legacy?

The installation works fine and I can boot from the USB installer but when booting from the HDD alone, I get still waiting for root device. I figure that this happens because when you boot from the USB installer, it has the addition kexts included with the installer to make it very "generic" Boot from HHD Alone: gets PCI config, stalls trying to find boot Boot from USB and Select HDD: Got boot device, enter desktop So where might I be able to find that data on the Mavericks image? Like where the Preboot.dmg was on the Mountain Lion image? Thanks!

The members of this forum have been a great help to me In getting ML working properly. I do have one problem though. I have ICH9/ALC888 and I have been looking around and Im not getting and results. I'd use AppleAzaliaAudio and I can only find ones for SL. I found one on this site in the Kexts that works for Lion, *Hopefully it will be a 64bit Kext* but the Download button is greyed out and unclickable. I've already tried a Modded AppleHDA i found but it does not work. Does anyone know anything that could help me out? This is a machine used for Audio Production so I'd really like to get this thing working. System Info tells me it's Vend ID: 8086 and the Device ID is: 293e. The Device shows up in everest as: Audio Adapter Realtek ALC888 @ Intel 82801IB ICH9 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-2]

Looks like i jumped the gun a bit. It's working at the monitors native resolution, but It's not accelerated at all. Opening NC gives me a red glitch until it opens, and switching from things is choppy. Definitely no QE/CI Fixed: I readded the GeForce drivers. This is just AWESOME! Thanks for your help, Cassio.

Okay so my Device ID is 1244. I inserted it into the last one replacing "0x"1240"10de&0xffc0ffff with "1244" in NVDAGF100hal and put the same string into NVDAResman under IOPCIMatch between and . I didnt include the quotes obviously as i know that would throw an error I just tried it again and it still give me a black screen.

I used System Info to get the Card ID and Inserted it into the NVDAGF100hal. Where should I insert the device id into NVResMan?

Hey all, I've got a bit of a pickle for you. If I use Lion, I get graphics working perfectly with little to minor stutters. In mountain lion, however I get a either a hang at NVDAGF100Hal loaded and registered or, It shows me a black screen. I can get mountain lion working with everything except graphics If I remove Applepolicycontrol.kext from AppleGraphicsControl.kext and all of the NV**** .kext files. I cant do that D: It wouldn't work. I removed all NV** and GeForce** kexts because on bootup NVDAGf100hal would cause a KP even though i have an nvIdia card

It's working fine and I can boot to the Main Install using the USB but once I install Chameleon on the HDD and try to boot from it alone gives me still waiting for root device on boot.
