Ok, i have the same board, GA-G41MT-D3V, i did the modification found by schatten, here is the link again so you can download the kext for the audio: http://www.tonycrapx86.com/audio/26439-alc889-applehda-kext-10-7-x-lion.html I removed the voodoohda i was using, and installed the modified applehda.kext they are providing. I can tell you the audio sound great, i can put the volume at half of what it was before, for the same level, but without the white noise. Sleep is not working for me thought. DSDT.aml.zip
