  1. Thanks for confirmation @MaLd0n Last question, is the iGPU of the i5-14500 supported in headless mode? I use headless mode with my i7-10700 and it works great for VDA, and large photo and video management A lot of posts said it's unsupported but want to confirm since if the iGPU will not work even in headless mode...I think I better buy the Core i5-14600KF version for more power.
  2. @MaLd0n i'm planning to upgrade my setup to latest B760M and core i5-14500, can I use the Raptor Lake EFI for it? I see the 14th gen is called Raptor Lake refresh so maybe same EFI? Thanks1
  3. Thanks for confirming @MaLd0n This is from US and I am from Philippines...so will take a long time to process...but I don't see any good option in our location so thinking of buying this from Osxwifi.com = is it natively supported...or do I need some kext added?
  4. @MaLd0n Is this wifi and bluetooth good? https://osxwifi.com/product/pc-hackintosh-apple-broadcom-bcm94360cd-802-11-a-b-g-n-ac-with-bluetooth-4-0/ I am looking to upgrade to sonoma but don't want to lose some features with airdrop etc. Thanks!
  5. Hi @MaLd0n I am thinking for a long time how can I upgrade to Sonoma and still enjoy the airdrop and continuity features, etc. Can I use Fenvi T919 which I already have for Bluetooth purposes only and use an Intel ax210 like this for Wifi purposes only? https://www.wavlinkstore.com/product-WL-WN675X3M I'm thinking I can put the Intel ax210 on extra PCIE or in my second m.2 nvme My motherboard is ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming I also found these cards in my local commerce store which I can easily buy, will these work? https://www.lazada.com.ph//products/i4453096159-s25274844247.html?urlFlag=true https://www.lazada.com.ph//products/i4102864986-s22702271611.html?urlFlag=true Thanks a lot!
  6. Hi @MaLd0n I decided to buy ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING, since the stocks are running out already. Will this be great or no issue? Thanks
  7. @MaLd0nwant to give update and share experience, this issue is resolved when I upgraded my Graphics Card from Rx 560B to Gigabyte Radeon RX 6600 Eagle 8GB GDDR6 GPU so I think the issue is with the old GPU
  8. Hi @MaLd0n are all these mobos good for Hackintosh? Thanks
  9. Hi @MaLd0n I'm planning to upgrade my mobo, which do you think would be better for Hackintosh? So I will have 4 RAM Slots and get to 64GB RAM build. I am seeing different prices for these 3: A. ROG STRIX Z490-F GAMING Intel® Z490 LGA 1200 ATX motherboard (14 Power Stages, DDR4 4600, Intel® 2.5 Gb Ethernet, dual M.2 with heatsinks, USB 3.2 Gen 2, SATA and AURA Sync) B. Asus PRIME Z490M-PLUS Intel Z490 Chipset Micro ATX Motherboard with Dual M.2, 9 DrMos power stages, HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, SATA 6 Gbps, Intel 1 Gb Ethernet, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A and Type-C C. Asus ROG Strix Z490-F Gaming Intel Z490 LGA 1200 ATX Motherboard (90MB12Q0-M0UA70), Supports Intel 14 nm CPU, Intel Socket 1200 for 10th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron Processors
  10. Thanks @MaLd0n! Here is a screenshot of my Activity Monitor @MaLd0nmaybe you can advice what app could be the culprit! 27GB of RAM in use 27GB Usage.png.zip
  11. Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for clarifying it. I recently upgraded to Core Intel 17-10700 it has iGPU already. Do you think it would be better for me to use the built-in iGPU than my AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB GPU? or if possible use both the IGPU and the DGPU
  12. Hi @MaLd0n Do you think I need to upgrade RAM from 32GB to 64GB, I am observing the RAM usage is already quite high 25GB to 28GB usually Low on memory 32gb.png.zip
  13. Hi @MaLd0n Oh so that's why it seems like it is being triggered whenever I import my large library of photos and videos (20,000+) and counting. I am using AMD Radeon RX 560 4GB GPU...what GPU could you recommend that has higher capacity? Mostly the GPU in our place compatible to MacOS is hard to find or too expensive.
  14. Hi @MaLd0n My life using mac has been stable, except whenever I update to Ventura, my PC restarts randomly several times within the day. Usually happens when I leave it alone. Please see the log, it's the same every time. Only bigsur do not have this issue. I tried Monterey and also has this issue. I tried switching from iMacPro1,1 to MacPro7,1 SYMBIOS but the same happens. Can you please help me clear this issue I think it's mainly VTDecoderXPCServ kernel panic ventura.png.zip
  15. Hi @MaLd0n I was able to make the second monitor work: It is 1080p now but 60hz only - if I try 75hz it becomes discolored 2nd monitor is still very small at 1280 x 1024 Here is my new IOreg: https://www.mediafire.com/file/4z9y8jxtexv9qg6/Jay%E2%80%99s_iMac_20.1_second_monitor_working_1st_monitor_small.ioreg/file
  16. Hi @MaLd0n Luckily the motherboard I got has Intel 470 chipset...and the culprit is the PSU - I used my PSU from my main PC and it booted. Now I got the Big Sur installed but the VGA monitor is not working, the HDMI monitor works fine...maybe I need -igfxvesa in boot args? Edit: I added -igfxvesa in boot args but now the two monitors has same display - it mirrors not extend as another monitor.
  17. Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for the prompt reply - I noticed at the box it says Intel Chipset H470 series...will this work with iGPU then?
  18. Hi @MaLd0n It's my bad, at the last minute I decided to buy the Gigabyte mobo instead of the Colorful brand, but to my surprise...it says Intel Core i3-10100 Comet Lake Quad-Core 3.6 GHz WITH GIGABYTE H410M-H V2 Ultra Durable Motherboard. The original reviews say H400M H only on the reviews, but this one has the box that says H410M H V2. After building it, it doesn't boot! Not even turning on. Maybe because it does not have a GPU? I'm lost with this now. Could you advise, the seller post does not mention about having a dedicated GPU added to it, and the chipset says These are the specs: Mobo: Gigabyte H410M (S2H) (H) (S2) V2 CPU: Intel Core i3-10100 Comet Lake SSD: Kingston A400 240GB RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 8GB 2666Mhz DDR4 Non-ECC CL16 DIMM PSU:Inplay 450W PSU H410 M H V2 Mobo.zip
  19. Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for advice. So I will ask the store if this CPU + MOBO combo will iGPU work with it so I don't need to buy a dedicated GPU. Because my friend wants to minimize cost and iGPU will be a huge saving. Not a gamer, not a designer, only office work/tasks to use the PC.
  20. Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for the advice but we decided to avoid the issues with AMD CPUs so I am buying parts for the new hackintosh PC instead. Here are the specs now to be bought: Motherboard: Colorful H410M K PRO - LGA1200 CPU: Intel Core i3 10100 iGPU: Intel UHD 630 RAM: 16GB Kingston Fury Beast PSU: 450W SSD: 240GB Kingston I am looking to install Ventura on this if possible, if not...Big Sur will be fine. Do you think this is okay good setup now? Thanks! PS: Sent another donation as token of gratitude for your very helpful forum!
  21. Thanks for the tutorial I got it all working already by following guide from Dortania.
  22. Hi @MaLd0n So we decided to just buy a new PC. Will this work with BigSur or Ventura? Processor: AMD X4 850 Motherboard: Colorful A68M-E Memory: GOWE 8GB PC4 Video Card: Yeston RX560D-4G D5 Extreme Edition (H) Thanks!
  23. Thanks @MaLd0nI see this CPU is unsupported, I tried booting up and there is no display just backlight in the monitor.
  24. Hi @MaLd0nall works now thanks! My friend wants to try hackintosh too..but has G5400 Pentium Gold CPU - will this iGPU work with big sur? He also has GT 710 Nvidia so I'm thinking which is better to use.
  25. Hi @MaLd0n Thanks for confirming I can use SIP enabled, will try it then! The Fenvi T919 works great! Screenshot at Nov 04 15-10-40.png.zip
