  1. While waiting for solution to my problem on following thread http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1832&view=next I found your thread but cannot understand enough. Could you please help me why ATIRadeonX2000.kext is not loading? On Pg 2 of this thread you suggested someone to use legacyAGPM kext, is that applicable in my case too? If so do you have legacyAGPM kext for ATI Video card?
  2. Thank you Cassio for a quick reply. Sorry, picture is misleading it was taken during one of the many experiments I was doing with kexts and settings. Yes, I do have modified ATIRadeonX2000.kext in S/L/E but not showing in Hardware properties Extensions. I had to remove Vendor Id and Dev ID ex : (0x95881002) in ATIRadeonX2000.kext to get to the desktop without which I was hitting white screen with cursor. I have also read a guide by artur-pt on ATI Graphics http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=736 but could not understand enough to solve my problem.
  3. I'm using ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT 512 MB (Diamond) Video card with Mountain Lion installed. Using Chimera 1.11.1 as boot loader. Everything else including Sound working fine. I managed to get thru resolution 1680x1050 60Hz on DVI port using Aty_init, ATINDRV and modified ATIRadeonx2000 kexts (please see attached picture). Cannot play DVD, videos in iTunes, Youtube videos, selecting new tab in Safari gives flickering screen and new notification center flickers. I'm not willing to accept that the card is too old or cannot be used in Mountain Lion since the fact is that Mountain Lion still carries all necessary kexts for this video card. Therefore, it must work with tweaks and experts advice. I'm eager to learn and open to constructive advice. I'll appreciate if anyone can help or at least guide me in right direction.
