  1. Hello again, mald0n I applied the battery patch and the indicator is now working. Sleep works great and most of the function keys are working(volume and brightness) The problem is now that the shutdown does not work. Every time I shutdown it turns off the screen and everything except the hard drive still keeps spinning and the cpu fan keeps spinning. As in everything but the screen is on and the only way to go through it is a hard reset. Also since the application of the battery patch I no longer get any of those invalid parameter errors in the H_EC region but the verbose is filled with <===HalUSBInMpdu(). Is that normal? Here is the new RunMe: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E7FV9-3iZEofFqr9ZLWiov2Z-ggq6g0Y/view?usp=sharing
  2. Hi again,@mald0n It was given in the guide at dortania.githubxxxxxxxxxx. Anyway removed it and rebooted it works without it so I guess unless I use ssd-gpio which was only with i2c trackpads. Mine is a PS2 trackpad. My bad there. So here is the new RunMe file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/19evkCXh4RPNjRsE9j544iFM05E5ZZKtF/view?usp=sharing
  3. Hi, mald0n I used the dortania guide as it seemed easy and olarila decides to give me kernel panics when I use the Broadwell chipset OC folder. I am using OpenCore 0.5.9 on my HP notebook 14 am036na I am having the following problems. 1. System restarts if put to sleep. 2. Hangs if shutdown. 3. I have confirmed that I have ALC282 from linux but none of the layout IDs work. So I used VoodooHDA. If possible I would like that to be fixed too. 4. The battery indicator is not working. (I have placed the ACPIBatteryManager.kext in OC/Kexts and updated the config.plist) 5. Brightness control works as it was in the guide provided by dortania(Github). Although I really doubt it will work if I remove the ssdts. 6. Also not a requirement but it will be useful to fix the volume control keys. I tried to fix the battery indicator from the patch provided but it seems all of my EC fields are defined as buffer fields (or that is what I gathered at least) so I am lost. Here is the link to the Send me file. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X5gSxv8SMk5ODcwSnuIZHGm4l3Pwcm3Z/view?usp=sharing Attached is also the DSDT dump I was able to make with a clover bootable usb.
