So changing the VIDEO MEMORY setting in the BIOS has allowed simple installations and upgrades. An issue I'm having now after upgrading to Catalina and installing the latest updates (10.15.6) I have lost bluetooth. Another thing I have noticed is it takes wifi a while (2-4 minutes) to activate. Any help would be appreciated.

I did a complete reinstall on a new hard drive and used the rehabman post install method and still had the sleep/wake issue. I started experimenting with the BIOS and changed the VIDEO MEMORY setting from 512mb to 32mb and now sleep works! I don't know if the default is set to 512mb or I had changed it (more is better!) but changing it seems to have fixed the issue. Do you have any idea if that will affect the video card performance? Thanks for trying to help!
