yes, all usb work properly and the webcam can be seen in system info but cannot get it to work

Hi, I've tried many types of kexts to make my external webcam work. Can anybody tell me if I need to use any kext or do I need to add any aml file? Some of the kexts I tried got successfully spoofed as Facetime HD camera while others gave a KP. Kindly help Thanks
