hi sorry for the late reply but I've been busy with work the last few weeks. the processor is an intel i5 1035g1 an am using an efi you provided me previously.

hi all just wondering if anyone is able to shine a light on some issues i am having, first off i managed to get the audio working on my Lenovo idea-pad 5i and everything shows as should except when i select the internal mic it doesn't work yet it works in windows also when i connect headphones into the jack they also work with mic, i also then have an issue with the display where when i boot the system despite being at full brightness and having brightness control the screen is dim this is rectified by putting the system to sleep then immediately waking it resulting in the display going to peak brightness i think it has something to do with the far from perfect way of getting intel uhd g1 working on a hack, my HDMI also does not work but that may be down to the Nvidia discrete graphics, the final issue i am having is with the battery of which i am sure is not being managed properly as it runs down far too quickly and only lasts for about 2 hours where windows will last for about 7-8 as it should. any help is much appreciated as these problems have been plaguing me for a while now.

Just tried it and it didn’t work but after replacing the FireWire card with another I had its now fully working in Mac and windows

Ok I’ll check it now, I was going to remove the FireWire card anyway as my iSight camera no longer works under big sur

Hi all just wondering if anyone knew how I could sort an issue I’m having with my hack/PC and shutting down basically after I shut down in either Mac or windows it shuts down fine then 5 seconds after full shutdown starts back up yet on my manjaro install it doesn’t do this and it was also working properly in Mac before but since adding windows to the equation this happens and everything is the same bios wise as before any help would be much appreciated

nvram didn't work i'll give an older version of whatevergreen a go just tried your suggestions still nothing also wondering would there be any chance of getting my HDMI out working or would it possibly not because of my Nvidia descrete graphics

just given it a go but the problem is still there where i can only get my displays full brightness after putting it into sleep and wakeing it sraight

hi sorry for the late reply, do you by any chance know how I could solve this issue as at the moment I have to go into sleep then wake it up to enable full brightness and that doesn't even work every time meaning I have to reboot. any suggestions would be much appreciated?

Hi Guys, I need your support for correct brightness. when on windows it's much brighter. when i'm starting MacOS shortly before IGPU initializes it dims a little, which is also the maximum brightness of the screen. I can control with the buttons minimal and maximal, no problems. when I go to sleep and wake up it is suddenly much brighter, like on windows. Otherwise I couldn't find any negative symptoms. How can I achieve that it has the same brightness level as windows without sleep and wake? Can someone help me with this?

I’ve been trying to get my laptop fully working with Mac for ages now I’ve managed Catalina and most things work except graphics acceleration, audio, trackpad and WiFi most of which is unimportant and the only thing I want to get working is trackpad and graphics acceleration and since trying to do a fresh install of big sur I get stuck at 12 minutes left and can’t do anything else

just gave it another little go again but still nothing can't install big sur now let alone get the touchpad working

just tried the efi and methods on this thread to try and install big sur i got to the installer only for the trackpad not to work and when i used a usb mouse to start the install i got an error and the install failed at 12 minutes left

just given it another go and still no luck

hi, I have a 10th gen Lenovo laptop with a 1035g1 i5, 16gb ram and a discrete Nvidia mx330 I have successfully got Catalina installed using clover although do not have graphics acceleration, use of trackpad, sound or wifi most of these I can live without although I would like to get my trackpad working as I feel this is the most essential I believe it runs using the i2c hid extension of vooooi2c after checking what it was in windows but after installing the kexts it still don't work any help would be much appreciated.
