  1. Not sure how I'm supposed to do this because it won't accept the extension .dsl to attach. I tried .txt. rtf and no extension and they all tell me to bog off. Please tell me how to post these
  2. I have a Fujitsu Esprimo Laptop D9500. I had to boot the iATKOS L2 DVD from a USB DVDROM, it wouldn't boot from the built-in one (but all the Windows DVD's did. I installed the PS/2 from the iATKOS and that was all. I managed to find a kext for the Graphics and also for the Marvel NIC, but the Audio is defying me! In Windows it's a REALTEK ALC262 (an Intel 82801H) I found an AppleHDA kext on OSX86 and a DSDT HDEF for the alc262. I pasted it in according to the instructions, but the DSDT compiled with errors. a missing DTGP. I added the DTGP file I found on your site, but I still get errors : - Intel ACPI Component Architecture ASL Optimizing Compiler version 20110112-32 [Jan 13 2011] Copyright © 2000 - 2011 Intel Corporation /Users/tfalconer/Desktop/DSDTSE.app/Contents/Resources/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 594: If (\_SB.PCI0.HDEF.PMES) Error 4064 - Object does not exist ^ (\_SB.PCI0.HDEF.PMES) /Users/tfalconer/Desktop/DSDTSE.app/Contents/Resources/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 596: Store (One, \_SB.PCI0.HDEF.PMES) Error 4064 - Object does not exist ^ (\_SB.PCI0.HDEF.PMES) /Users/tfalconer/Desktop/DSDTSE.app/Contents/Resources/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 1142: Method (_PSR, 0, NotSerialized) Warning 1088 - Not all control paths return a value ^ (_PSR) /Users/tfalconer/Desktop/DSDTSE.app/Contents/Resources/DSDTFiles/dsdt.dsl 1142: Method (_PSR, 0, NotSerialized) Warning 1081 - Reserved method must return a value ^ (Integer required for _PSR) ASL Input: - 6715 lines, 225387 bytes, 2626 keywords Compilation complete. 2 Errors, 2 Warnings, 0 Remarks, 76 Optimizations Now I'm stuck! Can anyone help me please?
  3. Sorry, It didn't work for me. Do I need to edit anything or am I missing a kext or do I have one which should have been remobed? The only thing I can think of is that the ATI Radeon HD5500, which also has Audio, is interfering somehow. Thanks for the try, Any more suggestions?
  4. Thanks for the reply, but it would have been as clear if you had written it in Chinese! My Mac skills are a little over NIL. I have HUGE 'L' plates is absolutely meaningless to me. Pretty please, explain in detail, exactly what I should do, where and how!
  5. I have an Asus P5G41T-M-LX motherboard, with a built-in Audio (Realtek ALC887 @ Intel 82801GB ICH7 - High Definition Audio Controller [A-1]) I also have an ATI Radeon HD5500, card which also has a Sound Driver. I don't use the Audio on the ATI card, just the Realtek one. Without using a DSDT, I've got the Graphics, the USB Keyboard and Mouse, the Atheros Network Card and it all works fine, but the Adio defies all attempts. I'm an retired ex-EMEA Support Novell Engineer, so I know my way around computers, but Mac is VERY new to me and I'm battling/ I've always hated Windows and Linux is getting there, but there's still some hills to climb! Mac seems to be the answer but I need Audio because my Hobby is Guitar, so without Audio I don't have a chance. Can some kind soul offer me some help and advice?
