Works weird without the driver but not showing up in system prefs. and with ELAN kext trackpad is showing up in system prefer but doesn't work. also found this: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/drivers/input/mouse/elan_i2c_core.c if there is a need of patching but I'm sure that this is impossible to patch and make it work ?

    This is a job for someone who knows how the code works. I menaged to make trackpad sys prefs visible and geni2c to detect it but it doesnt work. Strange when i deleted voodooELAN it works but its „ghost cursor”. Releasing a trackpad doesnt stop the cursor and sys prefs are not present. Its dead end for me

    Also waking up from sleep makes everything run very slow. Is there any fix for that? Or just disable sleep entirely

    no difference. still no touchpad. will try to manually pin it later Stuck here (ss in zip) Archive.zip

    Forgot to mention I have ELAN0626 trackpad. For synaptics everything works fine since first boot.

    Hi, I have a problem with touchpad. It was not showing up in the setting since first boot. I have downloaded latest Voodoo drivers from: https://github.com/alexandred/VoodooI2C/releases but still doesn't work. it was showing touchpad setting but after reboot it disapeared. Tried to patch DSDT myself but only wasted couple of hours. I failed.
