Hey guys, Has any of you experienced a restart loop and after 2 or 3 restart the OS finally loaded with error report (attached). Not sure what happened but everyday I get this restart loop and error and it takes longer now to load the OS. Thanks in advance. Screenshot 2025-02-12 at 7.31.20 AM.zip

Hey guys, I've frozen my machine to Mojave back in 2020 because it's stable and works perfectly with Adobe CC. However, I need to update now to Sonoma or Ventura in order to get the latest software updates. I'm thinking Ventura just for peace of mind that the OS is already stable. My question is, should I clean install using Clover (my current setup) or switch to Open Core? Or is there a way to update my macOS without clean install? I have a backup internal with cloned OS that I can use to test out a new install. I'm using GB Z390 Designare, i9 3.6Ghz, RX580, 64GB RAM. Any input is much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi MaLd0n, Not sure if this is the right thread but I reinstalled Mojave in my hackintosh because I encountered an issue when I mistakenly clicked OK on auto update. I'm keeping Mojave because it works perfectly with my apps and workflow. Anyway, everything seems to work fine besides the fact that I can't view .jpg images. Do you have any idea how to fix it? Thanks! -

I checked my monitor settings and it does support DDC/CI and it's ON by default. -

Hi MaLd0n, It's been a while. I was a little busy lately. Thanks for your response but it's still not working. F1 or F2 is just giving me the apple signature tone. -
No Brightness Slider Z390 Designare

Thanks for your reply MaLd0n, I have installed the app you linked here and gave it permission in my Security & Privacy settings then I restarted my mac. I still don't see brightness slider in my Display setting. Maybe I'm missing something? I just double clicked the unzipped file and installed it just like any usual app is that correct? Thanks! -
Hey Folks, I have an almost perfect Mojave hackintosh build that only has one missing feature so far. I don't have the brightness slider so I had to use my monitor's control buttons to adjust. I see other hackintosh having a slider that don't work, mine does not have the slider at all. I see some solutions (noobplanet) using DSDT patch but I'm a little hesitant to go that route unless it's the only way. Is this something that can be fixed by kext update? Btw, I'm using a BENQ PD2700U and you can see my specs in my signature. Please help. Thanks!

Hi all, Has anybody tried connecting Thunderbolt RAID Drive or Thunderbolt External Drive to Designare's TB port? If yes, what brand of drive, cable, adapter are you using? I'll be using mine for editing HD, 4K, 5K and 6K RAW files. I'm currently doing research on how to set it up. Thanks in advance!

"Couldn't allocate runtime area" on starup
potato_monster replied to potato_monster's topic in Mojave (10.14)
Thanks Mald0n, I pasted the file you sent in my EFI but the issue still persisted. I just disabled my igpu for now. -
Hey guys, I'm constantly running into this issue whenever I start the machine. The only workaround so far is to hard reboot and choose recovery mode > startup disk > choose my drive > restart. This issue used to happen once in a while but it has become more and more frequent. Please help me. Attached is a screen grab of the startup screen as well as the newly generated send me.
