  3. Please help. Big Sur HDMI Audio not working on Dell inspiron 5577 laptopHi Everyone,I have got Dell inspiron 5577 with an CPU i7 7700 and intel hd graphics 630. Alc256. I have installed Big Sur using OpenCore 0.6.5Everything is working but I can’t get audio to work though HDMI. I have it installed agdpmod=vit9696 to get the hdmi working and Using Audio Device settings hda-gfx onboard-1, Layout 15000000 (alcid=21). As the built in audio and headphones are fully working. The other day HDMI audio worked but when I rebooted it was not working again. It only works about 5% of the time. Is there any boot arguments or kents I could use to get the audio working? Or any other ideas? I have been trying to fix this for months with no joy.I have also tried using FakePCIID_intel_Hdmi_audio.kent , Commander.kent (which I'm no longer have them installed) and tried using hackintool to create a patch which I could not get to work.
  4. Im still having problems with HDMI Audio. Just Cant work out what's wrong. It sometimes works but most of the time it does not. The internal speakers and Headphones are fully working. 10. Hi Everyone, I have a Dell Inspiron 5577 Laptop Spec: Processor: Intel i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GH, Graphics: Intel HD630 + Nvidia GTX 1050 Ram: 32GB I have Managed to install Big Sur where everything works graphics, wifi, audio etc using opencore. The Only problem is that I cant open anything on the desktop and in the Dock. When I click on an app in the dock it says No preview available. I can get into the tool bar at the top of the desktop. Any idea how to fix this issue? I have attached a zip file with a config.plist and an image of what the problem looks like. Thanks in advance!
  11. I have managed to solve this problem. I used Hackintool to patch correct ID layout for my audio card. Then I used ALCbeta in boot argument in clover and installed fakePCIID with fakePCIID Intel HDMI Audio Kent. This method worked for me.
  12. Do you know what section In the guide I need to do?
  13. Is there a guide on how to do this? I have had a look at Hackintool but not sure what settings to use to do this.
  14. Hi Everyone, System: Dell 1577 Laptop Inter HD Graphics 630 + Nvidia GTX 1050 Intel i7 7700HQ Processor Mojave 10.14.6 I have got the intel HD Graphics 630 fully working with working HDMI. I can't get Audio to work on HDMI (digital out). I have read loads of guides with not much luck. The audio works on internal speakers and headphones works using ALCPlug fix. I have AppleALC Kent installed. I have tried changing the audio layout under devices to 5,11,13,14,21,22,28,56,57,66 and 97 which is for my codec Realtek ALC256 with no change at all. Im not sure but I think I have to install a Patched AppleHDA.kent which I can not find. I have also tried Voodoo.kent which brings up the option to select HDMI audio but I don't think it is supported for intel. If someone could help me on this I would most grateful. Here is a link to my EFI file: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AvHg6s4Jf3C1gfBnQgcPcbCB_A37OQ?e=byD8lR
