Hi Maldon, only way for USB mapping port under Clover is to use Open Core... what I mean is: xhciportlimit quirk and USBijectall not function with Clover or I had many problems to use that! Have you a tips? Thk in advance bro!

thx MaLdOn! There is a possibility to use Clover instead OC? I'm a fan of Clover...!

[Guide] - SSDT with Pike's PM Script and use with CPUFriend

Thanks MSI, great guide, really well described. My question is: I have XCPM active, if using the frequency injector via SSDT or kext, there is a further increase in performance? -
Hello to all, I'll explain the problem... The machine is at the bottom, the Boot loader: Chameleon r2377 kext: fakesmc, applehda, GenericUSBXHCI.kext x USB 3.0, AppleRTC patched, patched AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement, AppleLPC ver. 1.5.1 ( test 10.6.8 ) So if I start with DSDT=NULL, the system is operating at 99% except for the audio and the absence of loading the kext: AppleLPC. The sleep function is activated after 20 seconds (so it works only in mavericks, but no problem) by pressing the power button or from: Apple Menu>Stop. Wake up fast without restarting. Problem is with shutdown for the absence of the DSDT . With patched DSDT (attached to post) with the essentials, without errors, to inject AppleLPC (3a18), and then loaded, when I try to go to sleep after 20 seconds the usb go in sleep but the pc stays on, to put him to sleep total I have to press the power button on the pc. Only a few times, repairing permissions and rebuilding the cache, the sleep works. It would therefore seem a problem with all'AppleLPC. I do not understand if I miss a fix in DSDT...? if there is a patch for this kext...? But does anyone know if it is essential to load at startup, the computer seems to behave regularly without it, including speedstep... Thanks in advance for the help... DSDT.aml.zip

I discovered that the freeze after wake (main problem) are related precisely to wake up the sata disks... USB and LAN wake up properly... DSDT patch?
-
Sorry, probably my bad english. System goes to sleep well with Stop in apple menù, and auto sleep working properly with darkwake=no in org.chameleon. The principal problem is wake. Because monitor, usb (keyboard, mouse, etc..) and sata disk turns on, but The system freezing. I have to restart by pressing reset. For powermanagement, in console i have: kernel[0]: AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement: Turbo Ratios 1112 kernel[0]: AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement: (built 23:03:24 Jun 24 2012) initialization complete kernel[0]: AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient: ready In dsdt i removed _PRW method from: UHC & EHCI, and now usb wake on, but I have this in console: [0xffffff801990f400] The IOUSBFamily is having trouble enumerating a USB device that has been plugged in. It will keep retrying. (Port 2 of Hub at 0x1a000000) [0xffffff801990f400] The IOUSBFamily was not able to enumerate a device. For wake reason: kernel[0]: Wake reason = kernel[0]: USB (EHCI):Port 2 on bus 0xfa connected or disconnected: portSC(0x101803) kernel[0]: An Unknown USB Device (Port 2 of Hub at 0x1a000000), may have caused a wake by being connected The link you posted... I tried to follow yet... My untouched DSDT: Rampage III Extreme.dsl.zip Thanks in advance pmdsp!

Hello, guys! My system: Mac OS X 10.8.2 Asus Rampage III Extreme i7 950 3.07 Ghz 2x nVidia GTX 470 (SLI in Win7) ALC 889 - multishit DSDT (patched with DSDT Editor - no errors, no warnings) only kexts installed: AACPIPlatform Rollback, FakeSMC, patched 10.7.4 AppleHDA.kext Everything is OK and works, except sleep: I removed the prw method of usb in dsdt, now the usb wake ok. System wake up to 99% ... The system goes into auto-sleep only: darkwake=0. HWMonitor bar shows 12% cpu speedstep ... The mouse moves, keyboard ok, but Pointer remains rainbow wheel ...? I do not know if it is an issue with cpu (speedstep) or a missing patch in dsdt ... Attached my DSDT.aml below DSDT.aml.zip I would appreciate some advice ... Thanks!

I deleted: Intel82566MM.kext from IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/Plugins I installed: AppleIntelE1000e.kext, Lion boot ok and lan is ok but now won't sleep... system wake immediatly but the screen remains black... this version of AppleIntelE1000e.kext are: 1.9.5, try an old version... or is a DSDT problem...?

For Auto sleep i solved with a your old post: http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=6364#p6364

Ok Cassio Thx, I Solved removing _PRW method. ...the problem now are two: LAN, this is the message of console after wake: kernel: Intel82566MM info: Link is Up 100 Mbps Full Duplex, Flow Control: None from 100Mbps to 1000Mbps Auto Sleep not go...

@Cassio, After command: Last login: Tue Mar 6 23:32:09 on console Mac-Pro-di-L:~ l$ grep Wake /var/log/kernel.log Binary file /var/log/kernel.log matches Mac-Pro-di-L:~ l$ ???Hint???

I take this discussion after several months because I could not fix the sleep. I updated to 10.7.3 and I can no longer issue the command: grep Wake / var / log / kernel.log. The problem of lan as explained in my first post, continues to be ... Ideas, Hint ...
