Tried that one already, unless im installing it wrong. I used your atheros installer on the Olarila usb, i now have ethernet shows up finally in network settings. however it just says cable unplugged and stays red, no internet. the kext youve linked on here ive tried in efi kexts other, and in s/l/e but with absolutley no joy. how and where should i install this kext and does it only go in 1 place or multiple?, ready to give up and try previous versions of mac os. Ok so after a few mobo issues, i switched out my motherboard for a Gigabyte H61m-s2pv v2. Catalina was easy to install on this, 16gb ddr3, radeon hd7970, intel i52400. However, i cant for the life of me get Ethernet or sound working. sound is - Realtek Alc887B - tried voodoo HDA, however it was unusable, a constant loud hiss in the background which was louder than the music my sytem was playing. LAN is Qualcomm Atheros 8151 LAN chip (10/100/1000 Mbit) Ive tried with the Atheros kext that came on Olarila efi, no joy, also tried about 10 others i found online, none of them make it work, i also tried one called ALXEthernet, which just sends clover into a bootloop. These are the only issues im having right now, please help, catalina is no good to me if i cant get the internet to work. Thanks in advance.

Hi guys, Im trying to get the Olarila Catalina usb booter to start on my system. - - - - Dell Xps 8300 Intel i5 2500k. 16gb ddr3 sata hdd. Bios is set for installation, but im just getting a cpu panic straight away everytime i try to boot the usb, ive ticked and unticked a few of the cpu power management realted options in clover, but still no joy. Anyone got any ideas??, im desperate to solve the panic and get the installer running.
