  1. Also: how did you come up with 0xC8, 0x06?
  2. Thanks, it works. I've lost Audio via miniDP cable, though (via an old but effective Sapphire AMD 7870). Any idea why?
  3. Hi Mald0n. Thanks for the answer. Could you be more specific? Do you mean the layout ID via config.plist? If so, I've already tried ID 12, 23, 66 and 69 with no success
  4. I too have AppleALC not persistant. Asus PRIME B560M-A Intel i7 11700 No discrete graphic for now (booted in vesa mode) macOS Monterey 12.0.1 Opencore 0.7.5 (latest kexts) Realtek ALC897 0x100402, tried layout ID 12, 23, 66, 69 HPET correctly present in IOReg Lilu, AppleHDA and AppleALC loaded (see kextstat) BIOS properly set Windows 10 and Ubuntu 21.10 give proper sound Audio source settings present in macOS System Preferences, but no sound. I wonder how I can create my own layout ID Thanks in advance g. At this link available download of EFI Folder ALC linux dump IOReg dump Kextstat dump
  5. Thanks, man, that did the trick!
  6. Hi cassio, I edited DSDT as you posted: in my system profiler it shows up as "nVidia Quadro NVS 295,,,,,256 Mb" Of course i injected proper name and rom revision, but my question is: what about those dots before "256"? Am I missing something in dsdt editing? my rig: zotac z77itx intel i7 3770T nVidia Quadro NVS 295 Adding efi string (without DSDT edits) system profiler shows the card name correctly, but I prefer DSDT edit rather than efi string in org.chameleon.boot.plist. Any ideas?
