So I was able to install Mojave on my HP Elitebook Folio 9840m and had been waiting until I was able to install the new Broadcom WiFi card before getting to involved with attempting the few modifications I need to make to have this machine running perfectly.
The only issues I have at the moment are the headphone jack is not working, when the laptop falls asleep it will not wake up and he fan also seems to run quite a lot. The headphone jack I don’t care about but the sleep issue need to be repaired.
I have attached my DSDT file and hope to get some advise on how to fix these issues.
Also, I have been unable to install Catalina. I have built several different installer disks using every method but OpenCore. I have had success in the past with older PC laptops and older operating systems but my HP Elitebook Folio 9840m is driving me mad!
