Very handy! I don't recall needing to use a ig-platform-id for my igpu at all to be in compute mode since I have the rx 580, but it could be the DSDT controlling that? I'll have to figure out how to break the DSDT you made down into SSDT I'm sure from what I've been reading.

What am I doing wrong? I set the bios settings as close as I could to the guide, but it just sits at a _ no blinking or anything after selecting this install to boot. OC.zip

I'd like to try it out, started building a thumb drive for testing. Also, there are two ports on the back of this hack that are usb 2.0, Mac sees them as 3.0, the 13 port hub I have connected is usb 2.0 and actually getting power from the usb 2.0 port which is strange ?

Hey Maldon, Moved iTerrorByte into iFrankies old case, the front USB ports aren't working yet, but other than that can you check my run_me and let me know if I am still good? Retired iFrankie as a hack for now... it's all gaming machine now, but iTerrorByte has been legit! ? i got runme from the Olarila app, not sure if it is the same one, but it is stuck trying to use ioreg... i'll download the one you linked and see if there is a change. it didn't want to get the ioreg, so I saved it and copied from /tmp send_me and added it to the folder, hopefully it is complete. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1WuBrEReNOLyfT7KkJ9lmsej9I2_qryz-/view?usp=sharing

So my config is wrong?? I’m using the same patches eh01 -> eh1 or am I misunderstanding? I’m not sure how to go about doing the patches even from the guide, can you elaborate a little?

Looked at the desktop guide, isn't this what Hackintool is doing? I haven't installed the SSDT or kext files, because I know what happens is I lose the back USB2 ports. Screenshots are what Hackintool shows me, the other zip is what it exports. Screenshots.zip SSDT_Kext.zip

@MaLd0n I did the Catalina update and my USB ports started to act up, I added the new 15 port patch to my config, still has the same issue. used Hackintool to map the ports, on the back of my hack I have 4 usb3 and 2 usb2, front from the first usb header I have 2 usb2. they all tell me device needs power, when mapped the back usb2 stop working, but the fronts work fine, I checked they are marked usb2. in Hackintool I see eh01, eh02, xhc, ehc1 (it is renamed in my config to eh01 so a bit confused here). not sure what the deal is, using the config directly from this thread with no issues until Catalina. let me know how you would like me to proceed with runme or a ioreg, I can revert back to before the Catalina port fix and I've already removed the ssdt's and kext Hackintool created.
