Hello Maldon, many thanks for your help... now it seems to work again. BUT, after the last EFI folder you sent to me, now in the boot screen appears the 2 raid1 4tb hard drives that do not show previously. Any chance to hide them again? And to have the CPU report it's sensor temperature how can I do??? Many thanks in advance.

Hello Maldon, many thanks for the answer... Now I've another problem with a Mac you have patched around 2 years ago and that after a big sur upgrade some USB stopped working, and is not very stable as it was before (with Mojave). I attach here the runme app .zip I've made today after the big sur upgrade. Can you please have a look and find what went wrong?? Many thanks again for your support! Hello, many thanks for the quick answer.... With this one added in the mine existing ACPI/PATCHED folder containing the two DSDT, it now boot but unfortunately the wake up (with the power button and mouse) does not work anyway.... so strange... Do not know how to proceed further... Many thanks for the more help you can give to me... Best regards. Andrea

Hello, with the X79 efi folder downloaded from the indicated tinyurl IT DOESN'T BOOT AT ALL! I've putted the provided dsdt.aml in MY ACPI PATCHED folder and it DOESN'T BOOT either. The machine boot only with the runme files I've sent you with my original request. Please let use just that for starting point of tweaking! Let me know ASAP. Many thanks. Andrea
