Checked WEG patching guide for Intel UHD 630 and tried everything, every framebuffer and device-id combination... Nothing can get me out of VESA mode (stuck to 7mb, glitchy graphics, no acceleration, without VESA I get stuck in IOConsoleUsers: gIOScreenLockState 3, hs 0, bs 0, now 0, sm 0x0). VESA (using boot argument igfxvesa) is the only way I've able to get to the desktop. I'm using OpenCore 0.64 and the latest versions of lilu and weg. Any suggestions? I've run out of ideas here. 4. I did. Still nothing. Still won't boot. Any idea what could be wrong at this point? Is there anything I can provide in order to further help with the investigation? Thanks!
  5. Not sure what you mean, but using the Olarila app, I couldn't find no Clover 4522. Only versions Clover_v2.4k_r4586 and Clover_v2.4k_r4533 in https://sourceforge.net/projects/cloverefiboot/files/Installer/. I also downloaded the CLOVER.SERIES.CHIPSET.zip for Series 5, 6, 7 8, and 9 and replaced the contents in the usb stick, in the EFI partition, but it didn't work. So, where can I find that 4522 version?
  6. This mobo doesn't feature an UEFI mode, sadly. Do I just download and install it over the thumb drive created with Olarila's HS/Mojave image? If so, do I use defaults in installation or which options should I check? P.S. I Downloaded your CLOVER folder and replaced the image's default in the thumb drive but it did not work either. I assume it has to do with the problem you mentioned above. In case I use Clover 4522 and follow this guide, should I not replace the EFI contents by the Clover Folder you provided in the guide?
  7. Both High Sierra and Mojave images don't boot in my GA-H61M-DS2 rev 1.0 F4. Recorded the image (GM) in a thumb drive (tried one with 32 gigs and another with 8 gigs) as instructed (tried both the macOS and Windows way) and the boot process hangs on the blinking dash right after the number '6' quickly shows up and fades away. It just sits there. Waited an hour and nothing happens. Any idea what could potentially be happening? Specs: Mobo: GA-H61M-DS2 rev 1.0 F4; CPU : i5-2400 Sandy Bridge; GPU : GTX 750 TI SC (2 gig version); RAM : 8 gigs (2x4); Thanks!
  8. Wait. I'm not sure I got that right. I installed Windows first (mbr way) and had this other partition separated for the MacOS. I then installed MacOS in it and, I believe, the MacOS installer messed with my MBR/PBR for some reason (maybe all it really did was change the active partition) nonetheless, I proceeded by booting the MacOS now installed in the hard disk and installed the Clover Legacy using the latest multishit using the preferred settings for old hardware (presented in the first tab/screen). I got the boot0af error and only was I able to reach Clover (in mbr) by dd'ing the boot1h to the MacOS partition. I thought the nightmare was over. I couldn't be more wrong. When I tried to access the Windows install (which showed up just fine in the Legacy Clover menu) it never booted. When I pressed enter it took me back to the Clover menu. If I tried to access the MacOS partition, it would freeze after a few lines with a prohibited sign in the middle of the screen. I also tried to do it the other way around: Installing MacOS first, saving a fat32 partition so the Windows installer would allow me to format it to NTFS afterwards without complaining about the GPT partition scheme. I was able to install both but I got stuck in the same scenario as above. Am I missing something
  9. Is there a way of achieving this? I have a laptop from 2012 that still uses BIOS (No UEFI at all). It has only one hard disk in it and I want to be able to have both systems running side-by-side. I tried using MacOS Sierra's USB installer (downloaded from here) to wipe the drive clean using GPT. MacOS installs fine but Windows' installer refuses to install in a GPT disk. If I use Windows' Install disk to format the disk using the MBR partition scheme, MacOS installs fine to the partition created for it but the EFI partition for it is not created and Clover doesn't boot. Am I missing something here? Thanks in advance!

Battery percentage works fine; Speedstep might be working as well (not sure how to verify this); Screen brightness works partially (shortcut keys on keyboard (fn+Up/Down) don't work and doesn't remember last position after reboot; Audio out works (speakers/phone jack), audio in doesn't (on-board mic / mic-in jack) (using All in One Audio Solution 2 from hackintosh.zone); Card reader doesn't work; Bluetooth/WiFi both don't work; Sleep doesn't work. 11. Hey, Artur! It's me again! (again!) Now with good news and updates: I've successfully installed the system and configured the graphic card (Intel HD3000) to work in full resolution with QE/CI! Turns out I didn't need any modified kexts after all. I have the Intel HD 3000 of ID 8086 0116 which is natively recognized by MacOS as a vanilla card, only requiring the modifications in the plist.config like Intel Inject, for example. If anyone is facing the same issues I was, I highly recommend studying the Rehabman's Intel HD 3000 plist file from his repository in GitHub, which taught me a lot! (Also, using his file for 1366x768 screen will also do the trick, if the display on your laptop works with that resolution). Now, I'm more acknowledged than I was when I first created this thread but I'm not yet done with this. I hope any of you can help me with my DSDT/SSDT modifications in order to get a few remaining things done. I'll gather up what's left to be done and post it here in a few minutes. Again, thanks fore everything! Rob
  12. Hey, Artur! It's me again. I don't think you quite understood what I wanted to showcase earlier with those pictures of Clover. Here's what I really meant to say: Those pictures are from the Clover in the usb install disk downloaded from here and written directly to the thumb drive using the Win32DiskImager software. All those options are checked by default in the USB image downloaded from here at Olarila.com. Anyhow, I have to say I've solved that issue with the installer by pressing 1 while booting the USB install disk thus, using Chameleon to start the installation, which worked perfectly. However, now, with the system already installed with the basics to let me fire up the OS from the hard drive (e. g. without the aid of the usb disk installer), I have no graphics acceleration or whatsoever. No QE/CI, no audio, no wi-fi (except for the wired connection which I got working by using the ALXEthernet kext). Trackpad seems to be working properly and I can even check the "ignore accidental trackpad input" option. My question is: Does the Intel HD 3000 really work in the newer versions of the OS (Like Yosemite and El Capitan)? I know for sure it's not OOB. The way I have been able to boot into the OS for the first time around is by doing the following: fsck -fy mount -uw / mkdir /Backup cd /System/Library/Extensions mv -f NVD*.kext /Backup mv -f ATI*.kext /Backup mv -f AppleIntelGMA* AppleIntelHD* AppleIntelSNB* AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer* /Backup chown -R root:wheel /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/System/Library/Extensions/* chmod -R 755 /Volumes/Macintosh\ HD/System/Library/Extensions/* reboot From this point on I'm honestly pretty much clueless as to what I should do to get the rest working. Starting by the video. Additionally, is there any way of testing the proceedings without having to reinstall the OS every time we mess up? Thanks! (and sorry for the stupid questions. I'm not that tech savvy like you guys) EDIT Based on your instructions on http://Olarila.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2193, here's what I got so far: Extensions backed up; Config SMBIOS MacBookPro8,1; My screen resolution is not greater than 1366x768 so I guess I won't be needing the DualLink hack, right? Plus, I've never extracted/tinkered with any DSDTs and/or SSDTs so I'm not really sure about the other hacks/edits in there mostly because I've never really had to work with any MacOS subsequent to Mavericks, in which I used the Chameleon bootloader and only made alterations in the org.chameleon.boot.plist files. I'd like beforehand, to apologize for my inconvenience and thank you for being ever so patient.
  13. Hey, Artur! Thanks for the quick reply! Let's see... How should I make those edits to org.chameleon.Boot.plist and SMBIOS if I can't even reach the OS yet? And besides, doesn't the Clover boot loader in the USB disk already have those set? Here are some screenshots of the current situation and flags I'm using right now: http://imgur.com/a/p9qna As I said, I'm not sure what I should change now but I did move those Intel HD kexts to a backup directory and reboot but nothing happened.
  14. Installed using the raw image available here at Olarila. The installation process works just fine however, after that, when I boot up using the usb disk in order to boot the OS for the first time, right after I'm shown the black screen with the Apple logo and a progress bar under it, I am presented with a black (backlit only) screen. The system itself seems to be working because the hard drive led keeps blinking and functions like sleep works if I press the buttons on the keyboard. Also, if I just let it sit there for a couple minutes, the screen turns off as it is expected should the system was working normally. I've tried to boot up in single user mode and move the Intel HD 3000 video kexts to a backup location as also instructed here, somewhere in the forum (I believe it was one of artur_pt's instructions to a guy with a problem similar to mine). TL;DR: Using Olarila's El Capitan USB to install; Installation works fine; System boots fine with default options from Clover in USB; After the Apple Black loading screen no video signal is presented; The system seems to be responsive though; No kernel panics or whatsoever at this point. Any ideas, fellow hackers?
My bad¹. E sim, o exemplo estava bem lá. But anyways, my bad². hahha Eu tentei o Chamaleon Wizard, mas ele me deixaria esconder apenas uma partição.
No boot-flags do org.chamaleon?
  18. Hi, Pimentel! I should put those in S/L/E inside the installer USB Disk? Just to make it clear, I still couldn't get to install the system yet. I don't know if you watched the videos I've uploaded earlier about this issue but it won't let me get to the installer screen. It reboots right before it shows up. A dude from other forum told me there's no way of fixing it. That I'll have to buy another motherboard... Pretty disappointing. But I still haven't given up. Thanks!
  19. Fellow Artur, Thank you very much for your help! Could please you educate me in how and where I should replace these files? Thanks!
  20. Artur, I believe so. The HD is connected to the first SATA port using AHCI mode in BIOS. Can I change the AHCI kext of the installer boot disk? What should I do? Thank you!
  21. Hi, Artur! This MoBo doesn't have/use UEFI BIOS. The BIOS is a common one, like those "blue screens". I've checked all the options you mentioned in your first post, nothing's changed. I'm still stuck. Gotta get some rest now, been up all night trynna solve this mystery and caffeine won't help me anymore. LOL Well, thanks anyway! P.S.: Did you check the videos? Any idea?
  22. Video showing the same problem using a boot disk made using the RAW image provided here at Olarila.com: Clover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwC9slIQwac Chameleon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xt28E-iGdIw Still no clue of what's happening, guys... :/ Been up all night trynna solve it... Whenever and whatever way I try to boot a disk that contains Snow Leopard, it boots normally and I get to the installation screen. Whether it's Lion, Mountain Lion or Mavericks, same catastrophe. Anything else I should try or should I condemn my setup (or part of it)? NOTE: The Revision of my MoBo is 1.0. P.S.: Last thing I tried was to disable CPU's virtualization (it was ON before, but nothing happened) and checked all things in the BIOS were as fellow artur-pt mentioned (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1804). I just didn't find any ACPI 2.0 support / ACPI APIC support /Execute Disable Bit (NX bit, XD bit) / Enhanced Intel SpeedStep. Closest thing to it I could pick up was: S3 State or something
  23. Hi, guys. I just uploaded a video of what happens, when it happens. http://youtu.be/4CHZ3VIya6c I'm not sure whether quality is nice, so better watch in 720p. If you find necessary to focus one the last visible screen I can do that for you. I'm also downloading the RAW image. When it's done I'll let you know. Thanks! EDIT: In this video, the boot disk was manually made by me using a tutorial found here at Olarila.com. I also patched the MBR (But I've also tried without patching it. Nothing changed)
  24. I'm gonna test them right now and get back to you. BTW, thanks for the awesomely quick answers! P.S.: Sorry, guys. I somehow related Olarila.com with an english language portal. I could write in portuguese if you will.
  25. Hi guys. I've tried to use all the tools to make USB boot disks with many versions of OSX (Snow Leopard, Lion, Mountain Lion and recently, Mavericks) but none of them work except for Snow Leopard. I have also tried to make a boot disk manually. Everytime I try to boot using the installation disk made, it gets to Darwin and show the partitions on the disk, which I choose the installation disk. It starts all that loading and before the installation screen appear, it just reboots the PC. I've tried all types of boot flags and none of them work as well. Here are the hardware specs: - Motherboard: GA-H61M-DS2 Rev. 1.0 F3 - CPU: Intel Core i3 2100 3.1 GHz - RAM: 2x 4GB Patriot 1333MHz DDR3 - HD: 1TB Samsung 32MB SATA 2 HD103SJ - Sony Optiarc AD7280 SATA DVD/CD Writter - VGA: Evga Nvidia Geforce 210 1GB DDR3 Pci-e (01G-P3-1312-KL) - Power: ATX 3R System Iceage IA450HP80 450W - Wifi: TP-Link 150Mbps PCI Express x1 (TL-WN781ND) (Atheros 9285) - Generic Card Reader (one of those "1000000 in 1") I have only one HD partitioned in 4: NTFS WIN, HFS+ MAC, HFS+ MAC (tests), NTFS STORAGE The partition scheme is MBR. I've tried to use all the tools in their recent versions since the first update of my mobo, updated it to see whether the problem would be solved but to no avail. Anyone got the same mobo (or specs) and succeeded installing any other version of OSX other than Snow Leopard on this hardware? (Like Lion, ML, or Mavericks?) (or am I just doing something wrong?) I want to install Mavericks 13A603 (which I downloaded from the App Store). Thanks in advance! P.S.: I am currently running Snow Leopard 10.6.8. If it's useful, I can record a video to show you guys exactly where and when the problem happens. Thanks in advance!
