I have now managed to find the fix for Catalina to work you need to download a file called SSDT-EC.AML this file to put into clover folder /EFI/CLOVER/ACPI/patched You can then use your Mojave EFI folder This has not been mentioned on here so thought I would let anyone with this laptop know

I can make my machine now run Mojave fine by using your method Orilla Clover folder for my EFI, graphics patch that you have and the dsdt you provided so thank you for that. I have now installed Catalina and thought it would be as simple as doing the same but it will not even boot and stops with a ACPI error? Thanks for the reply, for some reason I managed to get it all working with a mixture of the efi files including brightness but with your dsdt the brightness was no longer working? Just wondered if I am missing something as I would rather use your dsdt if thats better and that can be fixed easily? Like I say sorry I don't know the difference between using dsdt and just having a efi folder as I always had a efi folder before...

I managed to get working using the default clover folder with audio working but graphics and other stuff bad so I copied your efi files from your send me zip (I realised this contained this) but now my audio does not work? Sorry I still have a lot to learn, before I just copied over a efi folder for my probook with high Sierra but noticed this is a dsdt file? Do you have and do I need the efi folders for this? I would really appreciate it if you have these

I am just about to try your efi on my HP 250 G6 i3 7020u 4gb ram and a ssd (I fitted) will let you know how it goes as I have been stuck on high sierra for ages. I suppose now the next os is coming out that will be the next challenge...
